Factorio is a game in which you build and maintain factories.
You will be mining resources, researching technologies, building infrastructure, automating production and fighting enemies. Use your imagination to design your factory, combine simple elements into ingenious structures, apply management skills to keep it working and finally protect it from the creatures who don't really like you.
Join forces with other players in cooperative Multiplayer, create huge factories, collaborate and delegate tasks between you and your friends. Add mods to increase your enjoyment, from small tweak and helper mods to complete game overhauls, Factorio's ground-up Modding support has allowed content creators from around the world to design interesting and innovative features. While the core gameplay is in the form of the freeplay scenario, there are a range of interesting challenges in the form of the Scenario pack, available as free DLC. If you don't find any maps or scenarios you enjoy, you can create your own with the in-game Map Editor, place down entities, enemies, and terrain in any way you like, and even add your own custom script to make for interesting gameplay. The graphics look like space exploration's version, the graphics they show in FFF-387 use gear wheels to dig, while this looks more like a drill
Ultimately it can be called inbuilt productivity, all planet unique machines have it. Free (extra) stuff.
I like you covering these mods.. good stuff!
Hmmm, well the mining drill is a bit different though right? The foundry and EM machine have actual built in 50% prod. The drill's 50% depletion rate I think works a bit different?
I thought initially that the result was just the same as prod (and maybe it is), but I recall that some folks corrected me when I said that in a previous FFF video, saying it isn't quite the same. Tbh though, I'm not entirely sure either way lol
You can simulate the resource depletion by increasing the productivity and decreasing the speed, but doing so won't scale properly with other factors and you'd basically need to calculate the modifiers separately for each combination of speed modules, productivity modules, and mining productivity.
It just makes the patch last longer. You get more out of the patch, but not on the belt.
Used it for more than 1300 hrs for myself now and this is just Great! 10/10 would recommend.
With the area this big there should be a built-in ore filter. Otherwise you have to be very careful to not mine from nearby ore spots
Other thing this mod doesn't do is output stacked ore on the belt.
well belt stacking isn't possible in the current engine.
at least not in the way that you could take individual items from the stack.
The preview showed the mines hooked up to pipes that looked like sulfuric acid.
Could you do a spotlight/in depth guide for the Mobile Factory mod please? all I can find on here are extremely lengthy Let's Plays with the mod with average video lengths being between 4 to 6 hours, rather than an actual guide for the mod to explain how to use all the items the mod adds
Yay, finally Xterm didn't say "titanium"
I'm confused lol
Weird, it only needs red and green science for me, and has 100% productivity.
Edit: Ah, I use a different mod that tries to mimic the FFF one, rather than AAI's.
Hhhhmmm I have now installed this mod and mining drill’s speed is 1.0 not 2.5
Ditto, and I think it was 5 module slots instead of the 4 in the video

"Bucket Wheel Excavators" and this mod is unnecessary.
Infinity chest and neither are needed
