I used to watch this dude as a teenager and think that some of his stories were rare occurrences that don't normally happen to people.
As an adult now, i understand that they are not indeed, rare occurrences.
I already experienced nearly all of those occurrences half the age of an adult.

For those wondering: a spice bag is chips (fries), chicken goujons/strips, pepper and onion strips, all sprinkled with spice, salt, and sugar. And yes, it's amazing.
I never saw anyone eat it with chopsticks tho. That's a hand in the bag food for me.
Yo, this model is so much of an improvement. It's so much more reminiscent of the art style you use so it fits right in!

Ireland and the UK have this agreement called the "CTA" which is basically like the Schengen Area, but just for the British Isles, so you can travel freely between Ireland and Britain without having to go through customs. The same applies for the rest of the EU (the UK, being the UK, never wanted to join Schengen)
Not all the EU though. Romania isn’t in Schengen and you still need to go to customs.
But it’s still in the EU
@@TheAltMapper the UK isn't in the EU anymore, Ireland is but it has an opt-out from the Schengen area because the UK still owns Northern Ireland, so Ireland needs to stay in the CTA in order to keep the border open
@@AmazingAlpaca Yeah you’re right UK isn’t in the EU. But Romania is in the Eu but not in Schengen so you don’t get free passage to other European countries.
@@TheAltMapper Schengen visa holders can enter Romania visa-free, because Romania is in the process of joining Schengen, alongside Bulgaria. Sadly the whole process has been stalled due to the Netherlands having "issues" that are marred with a *veiled* racism towards Romania's huge Roma population...

Customs is different for every country. European and British countries are more bureaucratic and like extra paperwork. Other parts of the world are much more relaxed.
Surprisingly, only US customs had a problem with my 800 gram tin of Turkish Delight (candy). That seems kinda weird because X-rays can’t see through the metal, so the other customs just didn’t care except for the US

My grandparents on my mom's side can side with the idea of traveling internationally being a nightmare. They had their luggage bounced around a few times. what I mean is, they had their luggage transferred to different locations several times before they finally got them.
Bruh fr. The immigration heard my aunt call me Mary Anna ( long story short Grandpa called me that when he had dementia and it stuck) and they started questioning me about my identity because my passport said Rosemary lol
Nah, he was just really unlucky. I've travelled internationally a bunch, it's not a hassle if you plan ahead.
travelling is a nightmare. my mom is Filipina and i am a halfie (obviously) and so when we go to the Philippines, we always face microaggressions because Filipinas are more often than not help workers (ie. housekeepers, cleaning ladies, and nannies) and i am half. and i look Indian even tho i'm not. i've actually been relocated to a different line because the security people thought i was Indian and then i had to show them my passport. they also thought my mom couldn't speak fluent English and kept screaming, "ENGLISH!" while speaking to me in very broken English.
long story short, yeah travelling isn't very fun

This came out as the end to my own stressful saga of traveling, only instead of passport issues, my bag went missing for a week. Luckily I was already home when it happened so I didn’t have to stress about it arriving too late into my travels abroad

Wow what a coincidence! I just got my passport renewed 3 days ago and it is already coming tomorrow. Your series made me realise how easy and efficient passport renewal is in my country and how bad it is in "Western countries".

As someone who has travelled a lot I could relate to this video so much and just how absolutely horrendous it is to go through any US airport/customs. The huge difference in politeness and consideration when I travelled to the UK was mind blowing to me lol. Going through US customs or TSA is a nightmare.
