I wasn't assigned to the mounted unit. I've been to the stables where the horses live, they are very well cared for. There are farriers working there and they have large outdoor areas where they can trot around, it located to the park system of Philadelphia. I actually processed an arrest where a drunk punched one of our horses.

@@treaty92 Thank you, sir, for your service and your answer. Words get around a workplace and I thought you might've heard about the horses. I'm happy you actually went to see them. It's good to know they get to play, too. :) I hope the horse paid the drunk guy back. I used to care for my ex-BIL's rodeo horses and I know they have a long memory. Years down the road, that horse will see that guy and who knows what'll happen? Maybe the horse is the forgiving type. "He was totally wasted, I don't hold it against him."
