Hey so im not going to update this video with the 2.0 recoil because that would mean i have to play criminality and i refuse to torture myself and play that game so sorry.
The recoil in Criminality uses a type of recoil called "Spring." Basically you can think of it as an actual spring. Where when you give it a force it will launch up then try to return to its original state. Most Roblox games I have seen use spring recoil I believe. They just tamper with settings such as Damp, Mass, Speed, and Force. The reason you get lower recoil when you have lower FPS is because (RVVZ most likely did something in the formula to calculate the next position) and because Physics are always independent from your actual framerate. They run on a 55 - 60fps and In Criminality (and other games) it is called each frame. They do this to make the recoil look more smooth then choppy. Anyways personally I like the Criminality recoil system where it stabilizes after you keep shooting. (Personally I think it's more realistic because in real life after shooting your rifle in auto fire you will most likely start to control your recoil after the first few shots.)
To be clear crims recoil is not in the slightest accurate but considering how much you can lose in this game it makes sense that gunplay isn't too beamy because if it were that means they would have to make the ttk quite long, which would make the gunplay less satisfying in my opinion.
Totally agree. I hate the fact the strongest guns in the game are so easy but personally I would put uzi higher due to it being easy to learn and control from mid to close range

Yeah I should have stated that 30 fps doesn't make the game easier cause it doesn't but the deagle in 1.2 actually was extremely viable without the quickscoping tactic somewhere after 1.3 it was changed into where it basically needed the quickscoping tactic
i dont think the FNP sight is off center, its a triangle reticle (hence the name delta sight). you are supposed to shoot things where they are at the tip of that triangle, not the center of it correct me if im wrong

If handling recoil will be too hard, only those who have time to train it will be able to achive anything, propably reducing the amount of new players even more.

fps drops depending on how much of the map is in your field of view, looking from the edge of the map to the centre seems more demanding than looking away from centre , for my fps at least
dude the lore of crim is that the government put the most dangerous criminals there so it would make sense that the recoil is weird cuz they know how to shoot it

i remember in old crim i shot an db and i didnt expect the recoil (it was my first time shooting an db) and my whole screen went up while trying to shoot a guy with a slayers sword (when 1st slayers came out im pretty sure) then the guy said guns r not toys and spared my life
also the damage on guns with the same ammunition for example: g18 uzi mac 10 mp7 berreta and glock 17 The glock 17 does 21 damage but all other guns with the same ammunition DO LESS DAMAGE Edit: Phantom forces probably handles Recoil like this is because your a solider theyre well trained this is just my theory

Finally!! Someone make about this everything is real but if u have fine fps up to 140+ higher and fine u will get less and easy recoil and the resolution is the biggest broken

After 1.5 i stopped believing that they are going to change anything drastic about the game, the absurd pricing on some of those gamepasses makes me believe that the game is much more of a cash cow rather than an actual passion project.

That's why i consider being good at guns, not being good at crim. Criminality was supposed to be a melee game and is one at heart. Melees are the blood and bones of crim. Most people consider themselves good, because they can move their mouse down and hold mouse1. If you face those players against a melee main in a 1v1, they would die or almost die due to luck. If you are good at guns, but awful at melees, you're awful at criminality.
FPS gradually effects recoil control recoil itself has no effect for guns like mp7 and Glock 18 it’s no impossible to hit far shots as long as it’s under 100 studs
what happened with crim after pre-1.3? i swear m4a1 used to be less power than aks-74 and the recoil was easier to control, now it's much easier to control aks-74 recoil than m4a1 despite it being higher power

quickscoup kinda got removed and now theres like bigger chance of the gun shooting where its position is instead of where are you aiming when you quickscoup making you to pray to god that you will hit something and sadly the only salution is to use hitboxe extenders in order to not miss your hits when you quickscoup and the bullet going everywhere instead of the guys body and hipfiring why does that even exists its so trash they should just remove it fr.

they forgot to lerp the recoil spring with dt*60 so the fps effects the spring

They don’t do it because of that, many games do it like that to help newer players who aren’t very good at recoil control
Beratta and tec-9 are so OP. M1911 is another gun that's kinda op as the 4 hit kill is great for medium range.
The unpredictability comes from if people are going to attack you or not and the punishing part is you dieing with a kit that costs about 30k.
These are insanely basic things that come with literally any game where you can die

mac 10 and g 18 become incredibly easy to control with stretch res.
Not incredibly easy since their still way harder than most weapons but still a LOT easier
I disagree on the fnp because I believe it's not exactly for spamming but I do agree on its horizontal recoil since I have alot of time with it.
