Marx EP5 Penn Central passenger train!

Painted three Marx 11" passenger cars to go with my EP5 in Penn Central livery. Added a rear trailing light to the observation car. Made all the window strips and printed them out on vellum. I scanned Marx originals and printed them out in print shop pro 23, than gave them a couple coats of modpodge clear coat spray. Will probably add another car or two, possibly a full length vista dome when I find a suitable beater to paint

Super cool! I was just a kid when NYC & Pennsylvania became Penn Central and that green was tops for me. Really nice recreation!

Thanks! I remember them as well as a kid growing up in the late 60s/70s. Their poor beat up jade green cabooses and rolling stock sitting in the yards just outside Corning on what is now the Norfolk Southern secondary to Geneva.

John, you've got the shade of PC Jade Green just right! That simple accent on the passenger cars is such an elegant touch. And speaking of shades, I know the shade of Louis Marx is smiling somewhere too

I didnt know marx made an ep5 but it looks neat. A little different than my American Flyer ep5

Marx E7 shells and Lionel repro pantographs. Cab mounted the powered truck
