Summary:
Sunny was left with a scar on her face from the encounter with Opaline and it starts to have an effect in her daily life. Meanwhile Misty opens up about her feelings towards Opaline's downfall.

Because fan animations are fun and cool and it doesn't have anything to do with the show's popularity? I don't like g5 that much, but if absolutely love to see animations and comics and alternate universes and the like. Like this comic.

I can totally understand how Sunny feels about her scar, However just because some ponies think that it's scary that doesn't mean Sunny should let it define who she is even if she knows that it will always be part of her. I was happy that she learned to embrace the scar it makes her look pretty badass!
And I was also amazed with Misty in the end, Despite all the evil things that Opaline had done Misty still cared about her and forgave her. And the fact that Opaline's face cracked in order to simulate a tear means that deep down Opaline is thankful that Misty still cares.
I love it, wasn't expecting to see cloud's nor pharaoh's referenced outstanding work
Wonderful work! I feel kind of bad for Sunny because of that nasty scar, but I'm sure her friends will help her through it. Awesome comic, Robin!
Good to see Sunny learning to accept her scar, and it's nice to see the chemistry between all the characters
Plus Misty and Opaline is heartbreaking as usual whenever it involves the both of them, but it's still nice to see that Misty retains her empathetic skills, and it's good to see her finally getting some closure while Opaline is either heartbroken and the crack is meant to symbolise that or she's attempting to escape her petrified state
Really good comic. Hard to know if Opaline was finally touch by Misty’s words or trying to get out 😅

I'm glad to follow more content of this new version of the G5 series, in the same style as the G5's own comics (compared to the interesting designs and colors of the characters included). Hope we can see how it continues, #RobinJacks, I'm sure it'll be worth it at the end regardless of the time it takes. 👍🏽👍🏽

This is great. The voices are amazing and the choreographing with the action is spot on. It's pleasant and calm, but the story of Sunny having concerns with her scarring makes it feel more mature and wholesome that the show itself.

Oh my gosh Jazz finally has her ears!!! That error always bothered the heck out of me! It was even in the freaking intro!! Man I love fan content like this! Especially when shows don’t do their character’s justice. This was great!
Jazz not having her ears in MYM isn’t an animation error, it was a design choice.
@@EaglesMan710 excuse me what?! Why?! That makes no sense! She wouldn’t be able to hear anything and it’s so distracting, plus it just makes it harder to show her emotions since they use their ears to emote!
@@Kittyboi. They said the 3D ears looked weird, and that a simple explanation as to why her ears aren’t shown is because they’re under her hair.

She looks good with a scar, Sunny, it makes her look tougher.
Why this is perfect:
-Everypony's in character (The banter at Mane Melody, Posey being an insensitive piece of horse💩, Misty's heart of gold shining by forgiving Opaline)
-Izzy sounds she did in the movie (Kimiko Glenn)
-The background music, expressions and humor are kept to a minimum (unlike Tell your Tale)
-Most importantly, Jazz has TWO ears

I think it is really clever to "reduce the framerate" of what it is basically a fully colored animatic, by only animating certain transitions at critical points (like Opaline´s statue cracking).
I hope you feel better soon we need to get rid of that scar it looks pretty scary I’m sure it healed it’ll go away next time

I know this comments is overused in the actual situation of MLP, but... Talking seriously, people as you Robin, treats the G5 characters as Hasbro should did since 'ANG' ended. I really hope Posey apologizes for that one. I mean, that's low even for her. She should know that scar was the result of Sunny saving everypony from Opaline.
I disagree.
Posey seems to have some periodic arrangement with Sunny (she pays ahead once, getting a certain amount of smoothies per week/month/year), so she can choose to get one whenever she wishes to do so [like a noble].
. In this case, she just realized at the last moment that she did not really wanted to drink one today & choosed to left it there [rather than trashing it with all its contents].
-> Since Posey did not even touch it, Sunny can choose to drink it herself, gift it to somepony else, or "recycle" its contents (perhaps using it for some combination experimentation of flavors). It DOES still count as "-1" for Posey´s total availability.
It would be unfair to ask Posey to apologize, because it was never her intention to offend anypony. She did took the effort of not directly mentioning the scar as the reason (perhaps in the hope that Sunny would not figure it out herself).
-> Posey´s greatest virtue is "Sincerity" [she is one with her anger, like The Hulk]; but not "Honesty"
She will lie & deceive in order to fulfill her own desires (including satiating her "thirst" for the feeling of epicaricacy).
I really want another one of this comic, it's very interesting.
