If you haven't already, I recommend you watch Elite Squad 1 and 2, two films where Wagner Moura is the protagonist Capitão Nascimento. These were groundbreaking in the history of our cinema.

Sounds good. Both movies got (Elite Squad) got high score on IMDB, 8.1. I didn't find the movies on Netflix, but I found nother movie there with Wagner Moura, its called "Balled Mountain". Now I want to se all movies with him, cause when he played so good in Narcos, sure he must been good in other movies too. If he starred mostly in colombian movies, these movies may be more famous now, because of the Narcos series. I think many people want to see all they come over by moura, they want to see more of his acting. He got sudden international fame with Narcos, and really well deserved, cause he's the best man for the role. There's another serie on Netflix about Escobar's stiry, its called "Pablo Escobar: El Patrón del Mal". One season, but 74 episodes. I'll start to see it this week :-) Guess it will be x mas till I finish the serie, it's so long. It ends with Escobars death in Dec 1993. But that's where Narcos season 3 continues, and there will be even season 4. Cause they will tell the whole story of the drug wars. They cxan because they called the serie Narcos and not Escobar.

In Elite Squad, Moura plays a captain of BOPE, an elite division of the police of Rio de Janeiro. It's based on a book written by the very person he plays. It's very similar to narcos in that sense, in which it's a dramatized real story. BOPE is known as one of the best urban polices of the world, and they are experts in fighting... Organized drug traffickers. So his character is pretty much the very opposite of Escobar! You'll definitely like it.

Elite Squad is a 2007 Brazilian crime film directed by José Padilha. The film is a semi-fictional account of the Batalhão de Operações Policiais Especiais (BOPE), the Special Police Operations Battalion of the Rio de Janeiro Military Police, analogous to the American SWAT teams. It is the second feature film and first fiction film of Padilha, who had previously directed the documentary Bus 174. The script was written by Bráulio Mantovani (City of God) and Padilha, based on the book Elite da Tropa by sociologist Luiz Eduardo Soares and two former BOPE captains, André Batista and Rodrigo Pimentel.
Elite Squad was an outstanding commercial success, and became a cultural phenomenon in Brazil. The film won the Golden Bear at the 2008 Berlin Film Festival. Its sequel, Elite Squad: The Enemy Within, released in Brazil on October 8, 2010, holds industry records in the country for ticket sales and gross revenue.

Wagner Moura was AMAZING as Pablo Escobar! His get up, speaking style, dialogues, body language, expressions and impressions everything. Throughout Seasons 1 and 2 when Pablo evaded police every time they got him, I would get frustrated as how so many men couldn't get a man but finally when they shot him twice before killing him, that entire episode I was like 'Please dont kill him, spare him". Really was saddened when they shot him. Heck even got goosebumps when Trujillo started shouting "VIVA COLOMBIA" after killing Pablo. So you can guess how dynamic and amazing the acting of Wagner Moura was that inspired so much emotion and liking towards the antagonist throughout the seasons. Wagner Moura es el mejor!
