Longtime Gator here... I am very excited by what I see from this team. Focused and fighting through all the outside noise. That's not what you see from typical 18-19-year-olds --- that's what you see from a motivated, well-coached team. Do we need to transfer this momentum to recruiting? Yes. Do we need to get our NIL act together? Yes. Do we still need to get rid of Strickland? Yes. Do I think we need an OC? Yes. Has Billy earned another year? Absolutely.

Next year will be the revenge tour for Florida. With DJ taking the reigns the offense started getting batter and the defense woke up and started playing smash mouth.
DJ is also playing with an injury....if you've noticed he's not running the ball last 2 games. Actually is a good thing to force him to step up in the pocket and look for one more receiver option. When he's healthy....he's gonna be a problem...
We need to top load this class with the elite recruits instead of a bunch of 3⭐️s but I’ll take Muizz at WR and then do everything possible to land Wilson, Jackson, Thomas and Ffrench and then attack the portal hard for the best of the best available!

I think we were a little too late to the party for Ffrench even with adding his Highschool and 7v7 QB teammate Tramell Jones. We need 1 more 5⭐️ WR to add with VB3 for this class though unless Napier and staff are planning on their being enough elite WR in the portal this offseason.

Why do you think college and pro typically tries to let the next “it guy” learn from those before him? Also, Mertz proved he was one of the best in the country last year. AND Napier was giving him his due as he earned that. No one could predict how lost Mertz would look against Miami. And our defense was still sleeping anyway until the Kentucky game.
