Excellent well researched report as always from the Cube. A couple of names not mentioned that will almost assuredly help is Ja' Mori Maclini at slot, portal transfer from North Texas who has history with Hamlin at Mizzou; DJ Waller, DB from Michigan who will probably play field corner and from last season Cortland Ford who can play either tackle spot.
Good assessment. Should be very sound on defense. I know this isn’t really going out on a limb, but I think the ceiling is determined by how good Brock & the right side of the OL can be. I think the reason they aren’t being talked about as much is because that schedule is brutal.
Can't really argue with that. WR consistency may be next.

I think the player that everyone will know is on the EDGE. Tyrese Fearbry is gonna be a stud! Really played well in that bowl game against Clemson.
I agree with everything you said, i think the defense took a step back last season, which is uncharacteristic for UK. Considering their more often than not one of the better defenses in the league. I expect that to get back to form. They lost a huge piece in MLB Trevin Wallace, but JDJ from Georgia is highly experienced and looks like he may be able to fill that role fairly well. The defense has some studs everywhere, guys like Fearbry, Ty Bryant, Grant Godfrey, D'eryk Jackson, alax afari are all 4 star recruits who have shown glimpses of being star level players. The defense as a unit IMO depth wise and overall is a top 5 unit in the SEC maybe top 3.. imo. Questions to me is how good is Bush Hamden? How good is Brock vandergriff? I think We saw glimpses of what a junior Barion Brown can be late last season when he was torching Louisville and Clemson. I expect him to breakout, the running back room has some questions to some, but to me i think Chip Traynum who has tree trunks for quads is a dog, Demi Sumo-karnbe is a solid receiving out the backfield back that is rather strong and quick for his size. The running back im interested in is Jamarion Wilcox, he was a freshman last season and didn't play, but was a highly recruited back by Ohio State who looks like he may be slept on a bit. If he is as good as i think he will be the running back room is fine. And might be underrated going into the season. Alot of people were premature on the hype last season, Partially because of the recruiting class in 22 which was top 15 in the country. Last year was a bit too early to be getting hyped up for that class, because this is the year that we will see the true strength of that class in particular. Cutter Boley Is gonna be one of the better quarterbacks in the SEC within a few years, he is the most talented quarterback ive ever seen sign at UK, and he is a home grown kid too so that could be special. Im thinking 2025-26 We might see him.

Stoops makes 9 million and is 35-55 in SEC games and 15 of those wins have been against Vanderbilt or South Carolina but this is by far the best roster he has ever had. Once again he has 4 cupcake games, Southern Miss, Ohio, Vanderbilt, and FCS Murray State. Last year it was Ball State, Akron, Vanderbilt, and FCS Eastern Kentucky. He just needs to beat Louisville and one other SEC team to make a Bowl.
