Next year, when the Amiga Maxi is released, I'm gonna be all over Super Stardust - used to love that game back in the 90s. A few others on this list I'm going to try out that I missed first time around. Counting down the days. Still, I have The Spectrum to look forward to in the interim.
i hated the scene on the amiga when it tried to be a megadrive , it was never going to do the things a console could , it became a cheap console for people to pirate games , its so much more than that , consoles couldn't run elite 2 , they didn't have enough buttons , the amiga was a PC not a console , its glory days were before it tried to compete with the snes and the megadrive. the developers of the later games focused more on a console experience , it was never going to happen with a computer that only had one fire button. i love the amiga. i was so happy to upgrade from a c64 to an a500. but then I'm a PC gamer , not a console gamer , the amiga was incredible
I agree. If I wanted just to play games like Sonic and Mario i'd buy a console. I wanted to do so much more than play platform games. Gimme more games like Lemmings, Worms, Cannon Fodder, Sensi, Project X, - not lame Sonic knock offs like shitty Zool.
TBH I'd of dropped BB & BBG out of the video and replaced it with Ultimate Body Blows for the CD32. I still feel there are enough AGA games that you missed for a part 2, I won't name them here as wouldn't want to spoil the surprise in case there is a part 2 but if anyone is a real Miggy nut they will know where I'm coming from. All I can finally say Is I hope the younger generation show Amiga as much love as us OG's did back in the day, it really was a special set of systems developed by a special set of people who deserve not to be forgotten!!! (Motorola Inside).
I am quite happy with the ocs amiga 500 i have..I never saw the attraction of AGA myself...AAA chipset looked promising but sadly commodore sank in 1994...I still own a c64c and 3 amiga 500s and love these machines.
monkey island 1 and 2 were very good too, captivating even. i'm sure you like them as well. this selection is great, starting with turrican 2 and showing a lot of exciting games many people didn't know i think. i owned this machine, totally loved it but don't have a quarter of your knowledge. and you have very good tastes i find! thank you for another great video!

Another outstanding video with some amazing graphics 😍
Aww thanks x
Banshee every time. Loved that game, really made it worth owning a 1200 (elite 2 running faster was also a massive win).
@@naviamiga absolutely. The 1200 was the way to go!
1944 clone?
@@Ytnzy250 I don't know what you mean. It's clearly 100% original vertical scrolling shooting with WW2 era planes and enemies.....
I would choose Gloom deluxe over the regular Gloom 🤘🏻

@19:30 You did show the cover of Fightinfg Spirit but the video of Shadow Fighter
Grrrr! I promise. I did go through it one last time before uploading!
Some of these games had fantastic graphics for the time.
Looked even better with a proper monitor.
You are showing the OCS/ECS version of Chaos Engine but is all good, i consider its graphic superior
Whoops, my mistake.

Yes, I agree. Far too many AGA greats. Who knows. Could be a part two 😀

@@doctorsocrates4413 the very best of micro computing.
Not gonna lie, I was hella fond of my A1200 back in the day, but the Zool and Robocod games were just baaaaaaaaad.
You ain't gonna change my mind.
Yup I know they were awesome.
Hello , IS it possible to listing game played ?? Thanks 👍
Yup. That's why I popped in box art so you can see.
Hi great video I'm having no luck finding T zero , not even in my AGS. Any help 🤘🏻
There's a quite famous ARCHIVE on the INTERNET.
Hey, thanks. Please support the devs and buy.
The chaos engine here is not formava version, but from ocs/ecs version… and others games here mentioned are not from Ava version…
?
Shame that you say fighting spirit and is the shadow fighter
@jauspicios not really because you have just told us all about my mistake.
The Amiga was king until.........Wolfenstien.
Still is 😀
Also, Alien Breed II and Tower Assault….
Sure but I had to stop at some point lol
@@JustJamie1983 Fair enough… should have said: it’s a great video, I really enjoyed it!
@antonvaltaz hey, no probs. I enjoy making these. I have uploaded many C= videos. Uploaded Best CD32 the other day too.

@Dokan777 no worries. That hours of research 😉
Ehm, and Brian The Lion?
Mate. This is a personal list.
@35:28 i tihnk that is not the right SF 2 version
It's New Challengers
I think some are just "AGA compatible" not AGA really.
body blows didnt run that fast at all , it was floaty as f , terrible game , even on an a1200
It worked perfect for me as per video.
@@JustJamie1983 I ran it on my a500 and it was very floaty and slow, shadow fighter was a much better game
@valley_robot not too great for the A500 then.
The Lion King on Amiga doesn't look as colorful as the DOS version.
