Dear Paul. I'd like to use this opportunity to express my gratitude for your priceless tutorials on Umbraco CMS and overall great content on your channel and codeshare website. Don't let that poor attendance discourage you from this excellent work. Thank you once again and cheers mate.
Hey Paul I'm sorry that people didn't turn up to a talk you've put so much effort into. I feel the pain of that. I hope it gives you some solace that your video helped me with my job, and I am grateful it exists.
Thanks Paul, this really helped me in my current project where I'm trying to integrate React into an existing Umbraco solution. Sorry I'm 3 years too late to get a t-shirt, but if you've still got any, I'm only in Lenton, not far from Beeston.
Hi Paul, thanks for the video, I have a question, why did you send a token along with the content API's since they are public and not for members only?
@Paul Seal Hi - I have problems getting my front-end communicating with my UmbracoApiController extended class. Any videos or tips on best way to do, say, a login page in React and Umbraco using MembershipProvider? Thanks for your amazing videos
Hi again Paul, I've run into problems! My Umbraco project is version 8 (not Umbraco Cloud) and the Umbraco rest API does not exist in version 8! Umbraco Heartcore (which seems to be their replacement for Umbraco Rest API) only works on Umbraco Cloud. Have you found a replacement for Umbraco Rest API for Umbraco 8?
Hi Paul just wondering if you've played with Matt Brailsford's headrest. Now that 8 is out and there's no rest API just wondering if you've done any umbraco powered react sites?
@Paul Seal - I would have turned up. Do you have a mailing list? I live in Doncaster but would have been happy to drive down. I've contracted with Umbraco since 2010 but have more recently moved into DotNetCore and such. Thank you for producing this great video. Fantastic proof-of-concept here mate - React.js and Umbraco - I love it! Keep up the good work mate. Remember that the less people who turn up just means that there is more work for the rest of us, and the truly good developers will be the ones who dedicate their time to attending events like the one you set up.
@@CodeSharePaul Hi Paul - it's a long way away. What date is it on? Don't know if I can get time off work sadly. I am still planning on going to CodeGarden though this year - what about you my friend?
Hii Paul, Can you please tell me, weather we can use angular component in umbraco CMS ? If yes then how it is possible ? Can you please make a video on it ?
Hi Saiyam the Umbraco backoffice is built using AngularJS so you can definitely do it. I’m not great with Angular so I don’t think I’ll be making a video on it any time soon sorry.
How can we retrieve content picker and Media Picker Item? Currently it is returned like this umb://media/385e5c3d0ef2473d84a90bfb0ed491c7. Please suggest.

Thank you so much. What a lovely thing to say. I will keep going. I just won't be looking to do a talk at a meetup anytime soon.

Ah thanks mate. I’m glad you got some use out of it.
Hi Paul, this has helped me a lot in my task set for my job! Thank you so much!
That’s great to hear. I keep meaning to revisit this
The best intro to a tutorial vid I've ever come across. I salute you sir!
I’m not sure why, but thanks anyway 😀
@@CodeSharePaul The intro and pancake chat was amusing
Haha I was quite annoyed. Bloody pancake day.

Hi mom glad it helped. Sorry all the shirts have gone now. 😀
Hi Paul, thanks for the video, I have a question, why did you send a token along with the content API's since they are public and not for members only?
I think with that library you have to send a token every time. I think it’s different with Umbraco headless now

Hi. Unfortunately not.
@@CodeSharePaul Thanks for letting me know!
This is awesome! This is pretty much the “tech mix” that I’ve been looking for. Many thanks for this tutorial and all the inspiration. Cheers!
Thank you. Yeah it's a great mix of tech. Umbraco in headless mode is perfect for react
Let say you have data in SQL which you want to push into Umbraco how would you do it dynamically?
Just build an dashboard with widgets for a client using vuejs and Umbraco 🙌🏼

I’ve not used it yet but if I wanted to build a React site with Umbraco then I would use headrest
@@CodeSharePaul thanks Paul I took a look at headrest but tbh I wasn't sure how to even install it?

Thanks Chris. That’s very kind of you. Are you going to Umbraco Spark in Bristol next month?

That’s a shame but it would be great to have a beer with you at CodeGarden this year. I should be there all being well.
can you assist with umbraco and vue

@@CodeSharePaul Thank you for the reply. Your tutorial are so simple and great to watch. Thanks for the awesome content.
Nice and interesting tutorial Paul! Thumbs up! Are you planing on visiting Codegarden later in may?
Thank you. I'd love to but I doubt I'll ever get to go. I went to the UK Festival last November though.

This project is no longer supported. You will need to use Umbraco heartcore Instead Which is a paid product.
This RESTapi is no longer available is it?
It has been sunsetted. They have release a commercial service called Umbraco Cloud now.
