I just picked this up today at the Yamashii nation store on a whim and I’m impressed by the face plates, wind swept hair. One of the best from if not the best for a figuarts goku figure. The book is nice as well. Definitely a collector piece.
That figure is great if you don't have the first version which today has risen a lot in price. The body is practically the same and only the hair and faces are the novelty, and of course the fact that that magazine comes makes it more collectible.
I know they're both shirtless Goku so it's kinda pointless, but I'm curious since the neck is different on this figure if the 3.0 SSJ Goku heads could work on this body or vise versa. It would be interesting to see a buff Ultra Instinct Goku.
Worth getting for someone who only ever saw the show and never read the books? Any major differences with the original release other than the head sculpt, the chest scar and the missing (WHY?!) energy effect? I also heard they are doing a reissue of the original.
Love that they're doing more Manga related stuff again, better than the Anime version just that the body isn't accurate to Toyotaros artwork kinda wish they re used the legendary ssj goku body since it's the closet to Toyotaros artwork, hoping to see more more Manga related form styles like UI sign manga since that one is slimmer same as SS God or True Ultra instinct or even SS Blue and SS Rose Manga version!
I bought it yesterday at a tamashii nation store in Thaïland, overall, it's good but the butterfly joints are a joke. I wonder why they didn't use the 3.0 body. The Legendary super sayan goku was released 4 months ago
@@kiralord8588the figure been on pre order for 6 months before that came out so that’s probably why they probably made a bunch the month he was on pre order that if they changed it than it wouldn’t be fair some People will get new body and other would get mormal
@@Vokz7 In the SH Figupedia coming with the figure, they said the prototype développement started 12 months ago, i think they had time to make better butterfly joints, neverless, i truely enjoy this figure, especially the faces

@@GyunikoUL The only difference that I see is what changes with lighting. Product shots are also done with pre-production samples so sometimes that can change the way they look in photos. However, overall I feel this matches up with what I have seen. And for your first question, yes it is the Japanese release.

I love the box, new hair, and new faces a lot but if only it was 3.0 I would have been glad to preorder it

I much prefer windy hair to kamehameha ball. New head looks great, and I wish they sold the book on its own.
For the Kamehameha effect can you use the New Ssj Goku's for that? I'm quite new to collecting SH figuarts so I don't really know.
