What's great about this property is that it is suitable for someone who likes luxury homes, yet at the same time immensely livable, especially with pets etc. So many multi-million plus homes look so spotless, one is scared to make a mess or let loose one's dogs and cats. The only thing I'd change is to have some more tech in the bathrooms. I've gotten too used to Japanese-style toilets for one..and make it more of a smart home. I wonder if it has automatic blinds and such..

I couldnt work out from the Omaze website if the land on the other side of the drive belonged to the house or not so you have now cleared that one up! That means there is space to add a pool if someone wanted to do so, making the property even more attractive given Cornwall's climate.
Amazing tour!! Oh how I wish you guys had toured the last Omaze house ‘Cotswold 2’ before it was won. There were so many rooms the Omaze team didn’t show and what was shown didn’t match up to the floor plan provided. I’m a bit of a floor plan obsessive and was so curious as to how the other rooms were that weren’t shown! You guys would’ve done a bang up job!
Blood cancer U.K. is doing a fantastic job. This house is not just a dream home for the lucky winner, but also a great inspiration from so many perspectives : Blood cancer awareness, helping the sufferers, a sense of community and of course great interiors and planning of the home.I can imagine myself , our family of 4 children living there and having all our friends and family visit us one month and have charitable gatherings the following month .
I will have to sell the property if I win it because I won’t be able to to pay for the least bill. However, it looks like a great place to raise a family. Amazing architecture.
This is the tricky thing of winning a house over the Lotto jackpot. I would imagine insurance will be pretty high and the cost to up keep 5 acres won't be cheap, would need to upgrade my little Flymo 😆
I'd use the 50k and some more to build a small 2 bed building in one of the corners and out of the way and live their with my wife and kids, then put the rest of the place on Airbnb. The days it's not rented out, we stay in to the big house. That house is definitely worth at least £500-£800 a night in off peak season, summer a whole lot more.
My wife and i live in Newquay and have just had a new baby. Man, how incredible it would be to win a space like this! I really hope it goes to a local family
I've always loved Cornwall. Friendly people, beautiful location and £3m spent there is better than in London any day. The house is not too bad either :)

It’s the area, lots of the London loaded holiday in this area, The Cameron’s are always holidaying in this area, also several chefs are here also, Gordon Ramsey, across the water is, Padstow with a ferry across, also Rick Stein has several restaurants Michelin ones also at Padstow. Cornwall is very expensive.
