It is always important to note that congress should always be overlooking the president and limiting the President's actions where appropriate.

      And the people
      And the press
And reason, religion, science, education, ethics, history, etc etc etc
Too bad they were all bought off, silenced, disenfranchised, destroyed, isolated, intimidated, disenchanted, discredited

Second. This should be renamed "the inevitable fall of democracy"

MordredTheMightyMetalhead I'm not a popularist. I just said this pattern of democracies corrupting from within until its people turn fascist from their egalitarian roots is getting old throughout history. Popularists and tribune figures have topped "elections" just as they've done so in Rome. It's all happening again.

MordredTheMightyMetalhead apologies. My personal belief is that no system, however complex or simple, will work at full efficiency forever due to humanity's chaotic and dynamic nature (which if genetically modified in a dystopian "cleansing" is theoretically a solution.. unfortunately). But to answer your immediate question I believe we need a necessary catastrophe or mutual threat to burn down our differences and use that as a justification of a radical revision/restoration of democracy back to its egalitarian roots. Yet that too, would be in time prone and ripe for nationalistic fascism. Athens, Rome, America, China, Germany.. it's inevitably going to happen again and again. XD

Yeah. The videos here are generally very focus on one specific subject that may not appeal to everyone. But for those that are looking for that information then this channel is awesome. I do not watch all the stuff that comes out. But I do follow the channel because sometimes is it a subject I am interested in and the channel quality is excellent.
