To reduce him to just a master of the clay surface does him a disservice.
He's so much more than that. He has eight GS titles, if you take away his fourteen at Roland Garros. Those eight titles alone, put him in the top-tier.
If not for his consistent injury woes, he would certainly have won more titles. An exceptional athlete, no matter the sport.

no one could , nadal at his best in RG is simply UNBEATABLE, there is no one close to that level of invincibility anywhere. Look at domi and stans finals against him, those 2 were like the best most powerfull shotmakers at their best and nadal still handled their insane shotmaking and power no problem.Rafa was truly alien and invincible in RG
