Hi Roshan, I say this in the capacity of a frequent traveller.Besides all the numbers and the years of hard work that has gone in to build this brand called "Amrut" there is also another very very important thing and that is humility especially when they are treating a guest.I dont know if you have really tried Amrut, but as a person who frequents into Goa and Karwar for work i can definetly tell you the food here is served with Love, Honesty and Humility that you find no place else..

Tendli is Ivy Gourd in English...it kinda quiet resembles to pointed Gourd or parwal ....but is relatively smaller

but still amrut has a special place in karwar.. there may be better places to eat sea food than in amrut , but still amrut has a legacy of its own ...... that it has build up in the whole region .....
That's the "Ivy gourd"...or "Tendli" in Konkani... plz do visit Karwar now.. it's pretty much developed than before..😊
hi roshan,can u suggest to me few in case u kno abt tem..better places i need to try out,amrut has a legecy of 37 years of hard work ,and sweat put into framing the restaurant oweners..ansd is operated at a 415 pax(seating)biggest of its kind in entire region.well b4 u say someting or comment y dont u reseach...correct me if i am wrong.
U can try fishland that is also nice and reasonable like amrut. just give a try

That dal or whatever it is called in kannada reminds me of besan(chick pea flour) curry that my mom makes.

The owner looks dignified and gracious -- the foodies look like two crooks -- yes shameless rowdies -- who've found an easy way to feed themselves for free by calling themselves foodies -- choor! Hope they paid for the delicious food!

In Kannada its called "Tonde Kaye", very common in our homes. Maybe those guys don't use Kannada.
