Its indeed fun. But dont expect it as better than SWAT 4 still. Suspects still make you feel like Rainbow Six on a clean house mission instead of a police officer. Mods can tone that though.
Similar and better IMO. Specially with the First Responders mod. (Although graphics a bit outdated.) I do hope Ready or Not become just as the same if not better than SWAT 4 one day.
A BIG TIP I FOUND, utilize both of your AI teams separately, I like to use red as kill squad and blue as cover, easy to remember red is dead, send em into rooms and follow them, while commanding your blue team to cover your position from any sudden attacks or door openings! In your setting there are gameplay options to choose which basic command you give to your AI teammates, I like to have cover as the default instead of fall in, because to use fall in thru the menu, you now get the choice to choose the formation
I just got the game and after playing for an hour or two I had to stop and take a breather. Gotten so used to fast paced, run and gun games that this one whiplash-ed me hard. Damn I feel like I did good getting this game and having to experience something familiar yet so different.
Totally get where you're coming from. It's awesome that you're trying something different with this game. The change of pace can be a bit surprising at first, but it sounds like you're enjoying the unique experience.
@@alcineofficial Yea, honestly I do really like realistic sim games, but due to the level of concentration you need sometimes makes me way too tired. I did pretty well on the first two missions, though I fumbled the third one hard.
@@necrobynerton7384brooo same thing happened to me, I gave it a try and lowkey it was good and I like it but it’s so you gotta have focus on many things but at slow pace or else it goes wrong.
😂 blitzed through the first couple of missions no problem, start a new one and have my entire team wiped out by a booby trap on the 2nd room we enter. I sweaty palmed my way through the rest of the mission. 10/10
You can freelean in the game that that is extremely helpful in every situation. It gives a sneak peak of everything in the room without exposing yourself completely to the danger.
@@Webly101 its a complete game-changer, you can't move while doing it but by using wasd you can lean very heavily in any direction you want (even pretty much lying on the ground to hide behind cover)
Me and my friends were just talking shit about this game last month bc it hadn't had a content update in a year, man did they make us eat our words. We still suck but it is a much better game than it was last week it's actually insane. They did good, thoroughly enjoying the game again.
Good video! One question though. Do you think the enemy is too aggressive and unbalanced? I felt that because a drug thug shouldn’t have 100% accuracy across a house in complete darkness. I also noticed there were many situations when the enemy is being aggressive, they somehow can run straight into you no matter where you are. When they see you, especially behind a door, you will see them just standing there, no door opening animations, giving you less than 0.5 second to react. They already down you before you can see them raise the gun.
Yeah, I thought of the exact same think but thought that maybe it was just a problem with me or maybe I sucked at the game. But, I genuinely feel like the enemies are bit unbalanced specially when now I can see other people are encountering the exact same thing.
Thanks Billy for the appreciation. As for the enemies, I haven't heard anyone else quoting the same thing till now but it seems like there maybe something like that. I can say that they "maybe" unbalanced but I don't think they are too aggressive in general.
Not unbalanced, just more realistic. We too often get AI that stands around or approches from a single vector, so a bit of intuitive combat is always welcome.
I didn't buy it at first when I heard about the AI and how bad it was for no updates. I decided to hang back. But when I saw my Favorite Weapon the P90? I was debating in my mind wether to get it or not. Now after I heard about the Improvement AI for the 1.0? I bought it.
To add, if there is someone direcrly behin the door and you open it by blowing uo with C2 charges then the enemy gets stunned for few seconds but not everytime so be careful with this. Died multiple times in the exact same scenario 🥲
@@alcineofficial playing yesterday AI just track you through the walls. I sent the bots to breach the data center while they were clearing I went outside the mind jot place bot came through the door tracking me and killed me in 2 seconds and on steam you see people talking about the God like AI they wall bang you and hit every shot and just know where you’re at all times after you shoot a bullet I’ll have to look at replay mode but people been testing out the AI and it’s obvious when they just tracking you.
Can somewhat confirm. Its more obvious if you watch back missions in Replay mode. That being said, in most cases, you can still beat them just takes A LOT of patience.
Its not a story-heavy game. And its not like any other FPS game either. Slower movment and more deadly enemies. No difficulty settings. I guess you can say it is a simulator of sorts.
How do I pass the elephant map / I have to discover 2 bombs and that takes a lot of my time and I can’t focus on the mission n be tactical at the same time I hate any game that’s has a senerio like this
So there's an aspect of single player that's really making this game boring to me. I've been stuck on the 3rd mission (meth people in the underground garage). I've tried it twice and end up in the same situation, which is that I am missing one suspect and two civs. For the life of me, I can't find them. I've spent almost 2 hours on this mission now. This is by far the worse part of the game IMO. Same thing happened on the 2nd mission. I went up the stairs through the gate rather than through the main entrance to the apartments and 80% of my time on the mission was trying to find the last remaining civ, who was on the first floor kneeling down next to a bush with his hands up. MASSIVE buzzkill IMO. So far the game feels to me far more like a boring scavenger hunt. 40% action, 60% "find that random super quiet civ hiding in a corner wearing a dark hoodie."
Didn't heard about this game buy recently checking Update 1.0 features and it looks promising. Might buy it in few days 😅
Sure, pretty fun!

Absolutely. Thanks for this awesome tip add-on!
Can't find the setting to switch the default command to cover.. just the binding key which is z.
Nvm I found it, is on gameplay settings, thanks!
You should also kick the door from *the side*. Not from the front. That way you won't stand in the way for clearing.
Yeah, that's a great add-on. Thanks arthur!

Does this game have single player mode?
If by single player you mean no AI, then no. If you mean no other player, then yes.
Why the hell is this game so dark? Like every room that I enter is so freaking dull and it is hard to see. Any help?
