A friend of mine just gave me one of these. Thanks for the help with this mod guide. I drilled a hole on the other side of the rotary thing so holes would line up with barrels. Glued it to the barrels, used some tubing to seal the plunger tube to the rotary thing. Added a stock longshot spring to stock spring. And changed catch spring. Works great!

The way you show the stats and how they increased is way better now than the last time I saw it because then you didn't leave it on screen. This way now you have the direct comparison without having to memorize all those values. Which is good, because I can't remember much :D Great video. Keep em coming! Btw, I don't really know anything about Nerf nor do I care too much but your videos are very entertaining, so far I've watched every one of them and I plan on continuing to do so. Filled the gap with a straw wrapped in duct tape. (left stock spring) seems to fire about the same as before but now it's a shotgun which is great because I bought it thinking it was. Thanks Cap!
I just got a slingfire, xploderz mayhem, super soakers mag, and my personal favorite a Vulcan with everything but the tripod all of $6 total!
Have you thought about mounting a Terrascout on your shoulders. So not only can you shoot with a blaster on your shoulder, but you can move and aim with it.
When you said soon, I didn't think you meant THIS soon. (Ironically, I watched the minimization a minute before this came in my notifications.
I used a Big Bad Bow spring with a coil and a half cut off and mine hits about the same. Nice video man.
Try putting a doominator cylinder in a strongarm or making an absolver
I got the Dino version of this yesterday, thanks to this video I was able to getting it shooting both barrels.
I play Nerf with my kids so no need for a stronger spring.
I didnt have tubing to bridge the gap, so I removed the Air restriction. Then drilled out the blocks on the turning wheel.
So it essentially does the same internally but gets the double shot as nothing is blocking the air. Still seems quite powerful.
So thanks for the video, really helped and brought me half hour of fun.

God I need to find some way to get my hands on these, except I'm halfway across the world.
just modded mine, I added a recon stock spring and sealed the plungerhead. removed the barrel selection mechanism but left the AR in. so in can now shoot either one or two darts, whatever the situation requiers.
so far unpainted, not sure about the color yet. oh and i removed the handguard, since it was not really comfortable.
note: the recon spring only fits if you remove the hook for the grey bar of the selection mechanism on the plungerrod.
Nice! I plan to do the AR thing on the next one I mod for that very reason.
I remember buying one of these years ago!! Mine worked so well out of the box, and still does!
I might gert a bunch of those, and work on integrating a smart AR from some other blaster into it, so you can still have single shot but also have the beefed springs.
glad you turned the Blue goo into blood, I would do this and make the blood Green for Xenos or Space Orc slaying.
the only thing i did to mine was upgrade the spiring and make it look like doomguys super shotgun
For the eliminator I got it had the rotation mech inside of the plunger tube. I also opted to keep the ar in only because I wanted the option to be able to fire 1 dart at a time as well, just my preference
I was also getting about 60-70ish fps and getting 20-30 meters or 50-60ft

I fully agree, it is a great blaster when modded. That damn rotational mech is so incredibly air inefficient, it isn't funny. Your numbers prove it. The blaster also just LOOKS good (when you get rid of those gimmicky bug goo splotches).
Oh, by the by... how's that nerf mortar project coming along? :p
L. Sanders I am terribly curious if the rotational removal is *enough* mod on its own...
David Bolack if you removed the rotational mech and added the hose to make a better seal, I think it would be an "ok" shotgun. You'd be lucky to break twenty feet, in my opinion, but it would function.
You should make a bolt action mag feed carbine type weapon like the gewher 98 ( I don't know guns but I think that's what it's called)
Do you know what kind/size of hose you used?
I do not, no. Some kind of hydraulic hose from a hardware store, I think.
Anyone have any recommendations for what Longshot upgrade spring to use? I threw in a basic spring taken from a Longshot and I'm only getting ~55FPS

hey captain, I have some old airsoft gun springs if you would like them , they are kinda small but incredibly stout, yours if you would like, I have no use for them because i have already done all the spring upgrades i plan on doing to my guns

The elastic on my stock crosbolt snapped enough to i couldn't it back in. has this happened to anyone?
When I bought the blaster I thought she'd open it to put the ammunition like a sawed off shotgun real.
I want me one of those! Think an old Alpha Trooper spring would fit? They are just a tad larger than a longshot spring.
EDIT: Well of course it will fit, I meant would it work well.

Do you think you could make this a break action shotgun? I've been thinking about this and was wondering how you would approach this. I have not bought this blaster yet because money and I'm worried that this project would not work.
Anything is possible, but it would not be easy or practical.

I am overhauling a demolisher, I am putting 180s in there, 16A microswitch, 16AWG wiring, and I ran into a snag. I know a lot of people use lipo power, the problem is my dad is worried about a lipo since he has heard they catch fire and stuff( he knows stuff about rc cars). Do you know how many imrs it would take to get enough power to run the 180s effectively? I do have access to imrs, I am just wondering how many it will take.
Well you can run 130's on 4 so at least that many. Do not quote me though. I am actually still pretty new at modding flywheelers.

I used a bit of hose. Other people have used a cut up ball point pen. You could use metal tube also.

Make a sniper out of it, just make it more accurate and maybe make it more modular to allow it use different types of ammunition.

How do you figure out a price for a modded
nerf blaster?
Liam everything bit late, but what I'd do is add up the price of the stock nerf gun (retail price), the price of the parts (plus like £2 or $) and depending how much effort it required, the price of labour.
In Florida you have to worry about you battery’s getting to hot:)
