Dave Brown & Morris Chestnut: The Surprising Impact Indie Night Film Festival Has on New Talent

Dave Brown would consider himself Hollywood’s best friend. He understands how to maneuver through Hollywood as a film director, actor, or producer. So he tapped one of his clients, Morris Chestnut, to help him launch the Indy Night Film Festival. In an arena where he gives space for new filmmakers, actors, producers, and directors to enter into the area of making film in a way that they may not have been able to otherwise. This weekly showcase and networking event is a hit in Los Angeles, so now that Covid is behind us, he decided to take the show on the road. This month, they decided to stop in Atlanta, and that’s where we were able to meet Dave and Morris and find out why this venture was important to them.
