You’re a brave (crazy) bro to go fishing in the middle of the day in 100+ degree heat. All to get us content to watch in our AC’d homes. Thanks Ranell! You’re awesome!
@@TheFishAndTrips Yeah, you remember the time you almost died on the north jetty from lack of water? Don't lose that water bottle. At least it's a shorter walk back to your truck to get more.
Ranell, good to see ya sir. How's 2023 treat'n ya.? Not much into snakey look'n places but I know you wear snake boots. Thank for sharing, truly enjoy the music and as always "Tight Lines and Full Limits To Ya"
North sider here. I live about 2 miles from that park. You were actually fishing in Spring Creek. If you go about a mile west around that curve you were walking towards, Cypress and Spring creek come together then it turns to Spring creek, eventually dumping into the west fork of the San Jacinto River, which runs into Lake Houston. Love your content. Enjoy your time off from your schooling. Also appreciate you disclosing your fishing spots, not like some other Houston area YT'ers who require someone to be patreons.
I see ya back at again. Your content is awesome, your insight of the whole outdoors experience is hilarious. Keep up the great work. Glad to see you back with the fishing Tuesday. Kinda miss this action-packed entertainment. Be safe, and watch where you step. That first one is a doozy! ✌️ out!
bro leaves of three smoke it 😂😂 same here man anything impresses me growing up in houston. droughts been crazy, we need some rain!! didnt even know houston area had striped bass. nice catches
😎WHAT IT DO?!! Heeeeeee’s BACK! 😂. Just when you thought it was safe! Bro, I know that spot. Caught some nice White Bass and Black Crappie there during the spring WB run. Nice to see you putting your life on the line again for you viewers. Definitely had me on the edge of my seat. Next time imma pop some Popcorn!🤣😂. FRFR, I’m proud of you, enjoy as much as you can before you get back on the grind(College). Don’t mind GG, he’s been on fire lately. You still the true Outdoor OG!💯See you out there!🤙🏾💯💯
You are cracking me up!! Spring creek is definitely loaded with critters. I had a giant beaver paddle past me the recently while I was a little further north of where you were. (A real beaver, not a bayou beaver...). That greenbelt will keep you on your toes for sure.
I've been hitting Spring Creek a ton recently out of Rob Fleming Park. When the water is low you can walk the creek bed a bit if you don't mind getting your feet wet.
Found your channel yesterday and it’s great! I’m just west of Houston. I have always fished saltwater but I’m going to give Mary Jo Peckham a try. Especially when they start sticking rainbows. Haven’t been there in years.
You should take a walking stick, the more noise you make the snakes will go elsewhere but incase you run into something that stick will make a good weapon and protection
Take a shot every time I almost died during this episode annnnnd you're drunk!
Park almost had me wishing I never went catfish fishing a few months ago.
@@laleeahomes3348 what happened?
The heat almost got me.
@@laleeahomes3348 me as well the last 2 trips. I'm making adjustments by bringing twice as much water as I think I need now.
@@TheFishAndTrips that and make sure I have something to hold my umbrella... I was in direct sunlight.

Oh no Moses. I actually almost died.
Lets go he is back!! Man why didnt you cook the catfish and bass😫
Because I value my life, GG.🤷🏾♂️
"is that poison ivy? what was it, leaves of three, smoke it?" 🤣

I used to fish out there back in high school. Go back when the white bass are running and you will slay!

Nice I went there in May I saw everything from snakes, deer, rabbits, & bluegill at the creek under the bridge
Bridge you say?🤔
@@TheFishAndTrips it’s a little hike east of the Jesse jones park maybe around 1/2 mile or less
Great video, I’m heading out there tomorrow morning.
Nice, my #1 bit of advice is bring twice as much water as you currently plan on taking period
I develope the most anxiety watching your ass lol especially the heavy breathing in this heat! I feel that one! Lol
So you feel like you're there right with me, right? Mission accomplished. 😂😂😂
You did not give up on coming back to JJ... Yo!
HE'S BACK! HOLLA
When the world needed him the most. 😂😎
What fish gripper do you use? Is there a brand ? Does it hold all weights of fish?
I've always used these and picked up some really really big reds with them with no problem.
