  • From the Sahara desert of Morocco in motorcycle to the steep ridge of Acatenango Volcano in Guatemala.
Two weeks ago Nick left the expedition to guide a two-weeks motorcycle trip with Freshline Motoclub. In the meantime Mathilde stayed in Guatemala and continued the trip on her own. In this episode, we follow Nick's journey with his team through the Atlas mountains, the numerous problems and the Sahara desert. Mathilde discovers on her side the Atitlan Lake, tries new activities and goes to the biggest event of the city of Guatemala. But it is not all, in this episode we also reunite with each other and go for one last adventure in Guatemala... and not any adventure, we go climb Acatenango, from where we have the greatest point of view on Volcan de Fuego.
Hope you enjoyed the adventures, if you want to travel the world with us, subscribe to the channel!
    Until next week, take care!

Morocco looks amazing - what a paradise for off road riding and adventuring.
Mathilde “Cousteau”(a nod to the famous French undersea exploring family) swimming in that amazingly clear water - wow!
Poor Nick must of been so fatigued from 30 hours of transit but you both did such a good job getting up early to hike the volcano.

In the years preceding up to 2020 El Salvador experienced 5,000-8,000 murders per year--- the most dangerous country in the world. When he came into office the new president Nayib Bukele was determined to put an end to the carnage. He built giant prisons, and then swept the country clean of everyone with a gang tattoo regardless of their guilt or innocence. At one point 2% of the men in the country ---1oo,ooo were in prison.
El Salvador went 77 days in 2013 without a single homicide, and its national murder rate is now the lowest in the western hemisphere--- far lower than the US! So you have certainly picked the right time to visit it!
