    This video series is really great! I’ve been totally baffled and confused by the whole system for probably 30 years. I am finally 100% determined to figure this out. Also, thank you for clarifying the difference between the Claude Gordon anchor tongue and TCE.

    You make a great point about the 'EEE' vowel stretching the lips. The best description on how to practice vowel sounds I have seen is from German trumpeter Malte Burba. A teacher not often mentioned in US based forums.

      I’ve only heard of Malte Burba through a friend from Belgium. Unfortunately I’ve not managed to find much information that I can understand about his approach.

      @@BrassPractice I ordered his book and DVD years ago direct. Definitely worth checking out. Basically vowel sounds are practised with a mirror and mouth wide open to prevent the stretching of the lips on EE. Lot's of other good iso tips too. All the best.
