- This Video will be a sneak peak behind my thoughts during one of the best runs of my career, the NeXT Tournament run from last month.
I wrote the script in one sitting, purely from recollection of the events and edited the video to the best of my abilities.

I will never be close to your level and the small things that win or lose a game are out of my mind so it's really cool to get a little dive into that depth of knowledge and the meta game of metaing your opponent and their tendencies. You are awesome Lambo! Always remember that more than 95% of the global population doesn't have the discipline, will and skill you built by working as hard as you did! I know words usually don't work as well as they sound, but I hope at least your conscious self can see and understand how special and unique you are!
I always considered you as a possible tournament winner even tho the odds are usually not in your favor. I like the fact that the biggest strength of yours is the prep and the insane amount of knowledge in matchups (race and opponent). I think if you get a decent group and a good day you can take the next premiere tournament with all the hard work and sweat. Don't lose your hope as this was just the preparation for a 1st place in the future. Keep it up bro always loved your commentary and the thoughts behind your moves.

You're doing yourself a disservice downplaying the impressiveness of the wins you pulled off across the tournament. You came very close to beating an extremely mechanical player in Serral, which shows you can beat them too!
This is the best sc2 related video Ive seen in a while. Educational, well narrated, entertaining and even emotional, this one has it all.
It was amazing to see you do another deep run in a premier tournament again. Even if it wasn't enough this time it wouldn't suprise me if you manage to do another deep run or even win it all.
Really enjoyed this format. As someone who doesn't have the time/energy to watch as much sc2 as I'd like to, this is a great way to follow your run through a tournament, get some highlights, and better understand your prep, thinking, etc. Really appreciate it!

Really interesting to hear the thought process and preparation, especially for ZvZ. I think that the matchup is hard to understand for lower level players (such as myself) and in Diamond all you end up seeing is either cheese or 2 base roach.
That's kind of how zvz is.. haha.

This was everything I've ever wanted. A way for you to give not only commentary on what happened but what you were thinking and the metas you and common opponents have developed with each other over practice and in tournaments. Really awesome way to add more value to the tournament games. I really appreciate the effort
Man, I watched all of those gamesand I was rooting for you. I was on the edge of my seat that last game against Serral. It's awesome to get a look at your thoughts during.
Although you can't choose to not have those negative thoughts, you can choose what to do about them. When they pop up fight them back with the good stuff like how many builds you came up with that are now meta standard, or how you're pretty much uncontested as the best queen walker in the world, or what an amazing teacher you are to sooo many of us ladder heroes.
Lambo is indeed a great teacher.

You’re really smart and reflective about your gameplay and choice of builds, something that pros like Gabe or showtime lack a bit in comparison to you. If there’s any EU pro that can win a tourney besides the big 3, it‘ll be you!

Great great great content. I remember watching these games on twitch and being so hyped as a fan. The result was tough, but I honestly think your skill set is good enough to win a main tournament. Mechanical skills can fade but true understanding lasts much longer. ,i'll be ceering you on in Katoice

Awesome stuff! This may be just a casual perspective but your impact on the scene has been huge with or without a premier trophy. Some editor guy might be useful to expand a bit, sure (these golden YT patches are nice and fun for the community) but I'm excited about seeing you on the big stages yet another year, the Lambro Ultras will be lighting the torches in the kop. I have no idea what it takes to play starcraft at this level. But let me share something. 12 months ago a tore a muscle in my quad before my powerlifting competition. It was from me over training and being stupid. While at the time it felt like I should just give up lifting. I knew if I just kept working and doing the best I can, I could return. I thought I would never be a strong. I thought I would be weaker then before and there was nothing I could do about it. Yet, I continued to train. A year later I’m stronger then before with a 2- 4 cms missing from my quad. What the point. It’s never over until u give up. Keep working at it and keep trying. You will get there
The sneak peak was such a delight , but the thing I'm most happy about it is....that you fought till the last drop of blood, even thou there is 1% chance for winning, is still a chance and you took it! I cannot believe you won the second game against Gabe, at 5:00 , or 6.30 game time, that was the perfect definition of 1% chance of winning for you! Amazing performance overall , you did amazing, GG and GL next time !
Bottom line: you took Serral to 7 games and you definitely have the skill to win that match up. Not many Zerg players or players of any other class can say that. Awesome video!

I also appreciate how open and honest you are regarding your inner monologues. A sports psychologist might be worthwhile, but I understand those aren't free.

Excellent run, and very interesting insight into the poker-match of ZvZ 2-bases.
Great video, with a lot of details about the ZvZ match-up in general, as well as your well ability to prepare and at least know what is best vs each opponent you play. After all, in a 1v1 game you play the man, not the match-up. Something that I think many forget when watching high level starcraft 2 games, especially tournament games, and what actually makes it a strategy game rather then just a pure mechanical game.
put your self in the situation of loosing against heromarine, you would have looked back on this tournament like "you were hungover, whatever..." INSTEAD you had a world class performance that you can on a good day even improve, i truly believe you can do it and so should you. Even if you dont tho, for fans like me you will always be one of the greatest in the greatest game. Huge respect and keep going!
