Yes, next to his native language German, he speaks Russian (because they learned it in former GDR instead of English), French, Spanish and English. Maybe some others already, but those I know for sure.
Being in their concert is the most insane feeling. You dont even get tired of all the hours standing before and during. The adrenalin and energy there cant be described in words.

I saw them in Boston last year, they're beyond amazing in person and the Pyro is always on point. They're phenomenal! ❤️ Seeing them had been on my bucket list since I was 15... ended up waiting 15 years to see them and it was even more phenomenal then I could have hoped for!

I saw Rammstein back in 1999 on the Family Values tour with Korn, Limp Bizkit, Orgy and Incubus. They opened with the self titled song Rammstein and Till wore a fire proof coat that lit on fire when he began singing. Then he whipped out a rather large prosthetic member hooked to a water filled backpack and relieved it of its contents upon us. Great times.
The Text has two meanings in German: „Du hast mich (gefragt)“ means „ you asked me“ , but „Du hasst mich“ means „ you hate me“ . „Hast“ and „ hasst“ sound almost the same in german. This song is a play on German wedding vows:

Feuer Frei is in the beginning of XXX(triple x). I got to see them last year in Foxborough MA. Walked 57 miles to see them and it was totally worth it. I also recommend you watch Ich Tu Dir Weh live version. If you know what your skin feels like when you have a sunburn that's what the flames feel like in the fifth row in the feuer zone.
I've been to their concert in Padova yesterday evening. Fire is much higher in today concerts. The concert was astonishing. It was the fifth time I went to their concert and they were all great

I’m trying to explain it to you from my point of view.
The text for "Du Hast" by Rammstein is from the point of view of an ex-lover who looks back on the relationship and asks the others if he would still be so loyal and devoted to his partner if they were still together. The chorus asks the question: "Will you stay with me until death separates us; will you remain faithful to me all the days of our lives?" The "yes no" essentially says that the answer is "no", which indicates that the partner is not as loyal and faithful as he once claimed. The song is a reflection on relationships that ultimately cannot withstand, and the feeling of disappointment in love that arises from this realization.

My husband and I saw them last year in San Antonio. It was at the AT&T Center which ceiling is closed. After the concert, the place was dark with all the smoke! I was wearing a mask because I was still being cautious about Covid, but my hubby wasn't wearing one. When we got back to the hotel to shower, my husband was cleaning out soot from his nose and ears. 😂 It was a fantastic show!

Saw in Berlin last week. there was sooooooo much fire. Yes! they do this at all of there concerts. There were towers in the crowd that were spewing flames in the air. You could feel the heat on your skin from the propane blasts 50 feet in the air. It wasn't just on stage, it was in the crowd.

Til Lindermann is the hulking huge lead singer and he's also the directing pyrotechnician, fully licensed for this.

Yes, Flake was riding a Segway on stage and collided with Till, injuring his leg. Led to a couple of concerts having to be cancelled. Everyone is safer with Flake on his treadmill plus he gets his exercise😉😂
He wasn't allowed to train as a doctor because he refused to do national service in East Germany.

They do not say you hate a singel time in the song. Du hast = you have and du hasst = you hate. They do sound the same but it is a common misstake to mix them up if you do not speak or understand German. No one got injured but a hanging cloth caught fire during a show. After that Till (the singer) got certified because they did not want to leave it up to other people with the safety.

A few things I'd like to say;
- The music at the beginning of 'xXx' is another song - Feuer Frei.
- The band is known for their pyrotechnics, what yo usee here is actually now even the most 'Show' they do with fire. Look up 'Mein Teil' performed or 'Benzin'.
- The lyrics are poetic indeed. The wordplays, the dualities and even just straight forward saying what they mean ( Dicke Titten comes to mind for that one, means Fat T**s :P )

the video was discussed very controversially here in Germany and should be banned. But the good thing is that "art" cannot be banned here according to our constitution. The video now totally reflects the situation here in Germany. If we look around right now and what is happening politically in our country, we can only be ashamed. It's no wonder that the whole world is laughing at us. Ramstein is always very critical and the lyrics are always ambiguous. Here it is once again art that raises its finger to point out what is wrong.
As I said, the song is more up-to-date years later than when it was created, I'm also pleased in all the reaction videos I've seen to what extent people already recognize the meaning just based on the pictures and want to know more about what exactly is going on without them to understand words. Ramstein is currently the best we can export from Germany in terms of music.

I'm proud to be a German, but I can't say that here because I'm immediately taken for a "Nazi" in my own country. It's not punishable, but you'll get a wrong side look. When I see what we have achieved over the centuries, art, technology, medicine, etc. Then I'm proud.

Ya’all hearing this song way late, they were huge in 1996/97 after they were on the soundtrack for Lost Highway. Triple X came years later.
Half the lyrics of this song are wedding related. They sing "Willst du bis der Tod euch scheidet treue sein für alle Tage?" It means "do you want to be faithful until death parts you?" It is a question a priest would ask the couple during a wedding historically. And in response half the crowd yells "JAAAA" meaning yes, whereas the other half yells "Nein!" which means no. The whole song plays around with these conflicting messages of love and hate. And the crowd loves it.

Singer Lindemann is a pyrotechnician. For these pyro shows, he occasionally bought up all the club moss seeds from China.
"You... you hate me... you asked me: 'Do you want to be with me until death separates us?' and I said nothing." The female voice sais YES and he sais NO so I think they tried to show this in the video also with her giving him a gun to control him and sending him to fight his friends (or his own doubts) because she knows they are going to have an influence over him and probably make him realise that he is not ready for marriage.
Now I'm going to give you my interpretation of this. I think is a classic case of someone getting more into his/her partner, having expectations of a lifetime love and marriage, while the guy in this case was getting into all the passion of the moment (the heat I think is used to reflect this in the videos and show that passion can be very striking but it ends). After he was not able to commit to something more, to have real feelings for her, she hates him. In the video, his friends "save" him from this marriage by setting fire to the past and walking away...

"Du hast" is also part of the 1999 "Matrix" movie soundtrack. Must be the first movie with this song as it is was published in the same year. I love this movie so much, I still do so today, and so I bought the soundtrack. This is how I came to the band. (And also "Rage against the Machine".) Yeah, I'm officially old. 😉
This year in July I will visit a Rammstein concert for the first time, because I finally managed to get a ticket. 😍 Their concerts are always sold out within minutes in Germany. And after the allegations last year about Till Lindemann sexually abusing female fans after concerts which caused discussions in Germany for months, all their albums have been shooting straight to the charts again. 😉 (Police investigations did not prove anything, so the case was closed.)

I was at this concert and I have seen them live many time. They are pyrotechnic experts. Look up Rammstein air base disaster for their name.
The airbase is spelled Ramstein just with one "m". But the connection is right, they later admitted that they did not know that they spelled the name of the town wrong. 😉
