- Building the second suction system for my vacuum cnc router. This time I used Mink Flex-Systems Brushes (Mink-Flex FBL3002 15mm). Thanks Jürgen Dethlefs for making me aware of the brushes.
Very impressive idea! Is the BOM and CAD files shared somewhere? Is it open project?
No, Sorry. I Used nccad9 for this project. Nccad9 from maxx-computer has no export to DXF or a a other CAD format.
Thank you Hilmar, that you mention me in your description. ;-)
Great video!
Perhaps you should reduce the brush to the area around your router bit.
This would optimize the suction in the edge area of your workpiece.
The integrated suction channel in the plexiglas ist great. I think, that i would optimize my suction shoe in the nearby future, too.

Cool result! I think you can sell it) I want to buy it! Thank you!
very very good!!!
gefällt mir sehr gut
Good clean design and build. Thanks for sharing.
i like the overall design very much, thank you!
You could have mounted those brushes in a circular shape - where there really is sucktion - the way you currently mounted them makes noooot so much sense to me.
If you mount the brushes like I do, the brushes do not cross the air channel in the suction shoe.
The shoe can be build more flat, which is important for reducing the length of the drill bit. If you mount the brushes in a circular shape you have to cross the air channel with the brushes. This construction result in a higher suction shoe or a smaller air channel. But show me your results.
i understand now, thanks for the reply.
Great video mate
@Theiss Hilmar Can you remember what the specs were of the bristles on the Mink-Flex brush?
muito bom , obrigado por compartilhar (portuguese)
Dear Hilmar, what thickness of plexiglass in your project?
👍👍👍
Found it! lol
Super gemacht
Hm 🤔
Ausführung Perfekt 👌, Aussehen Super 👏
Irgendwie habe ich das Gefühl das es dich nicht zufriedenstellen wird.
Mir hat das Absaugergebniss vorher besser gefallen
