Hello, I deleted my comment about resin sticking to plastic because as I've learned resin usually does not stick to plastic, which is why in this video you did not use any. I think I'm going to use craft plastic (Grafix Craft Plastic) because stiff, sheet plastic is actually kinda hard to come by that isn't from packaging. I love this ring idea and hopefully making it will result in something equally lovely.

So it's a bit more complicated than that. This is a beautiful unique ring and the work put into it would mean a lot to me. The only draw back is you wear your wedding ring everyday and this ring may not have the durability to be with day in and day out. Though if you want to make a unique ring, there are lots of ring casting techniques with metal on RUclips which would be more personal. I'll be casting my boyfriend's wedding band when we get married. I recommend the lost wax method do you can carve the shape you want out of carving wax

Спасибо, скажу честно что я делаю на интуитивном уровне, это кольцо например получилось с первого раза, все пропорции видны в видео, если говорить за смолу и красители, это зависит от производителя, я хоть и указываю соотношение что к чему, не стоит это принимать за истину, самое главное в этом деле что бы у вас база в разработке подобных штук, а пропорции вы сами определите по ходу дела.
