thanks for this, did the same on my T31. Reason for it flashing is i had taken out the seats to clean it thoroughly after my 2 year old decided to drop crisps everywhere especially in between the seats. Thanks for the quick fix!
Hi Polar Bear ! I'm surprised cause I tried this way on my X-Trail 2.0 DCI 2008 ( so T31 ). Basically, the airbag light never blinks so I can't go further.... Any idea ? Thx and regards !
Important!! In steps 2, 4 and 6 YOU HAVE TO TURN OFF (to ACC) AS SOON AS BLINKING STARTS (that is right after the first transition of the airbag light from ON(BRIGHT) TO OFF(DARK) Also, in step 7, after satisfying yourself that it now blinks slowly (no hurry just take your time to confirm this) you can TURN OFF and then ON again (no timing here, just do this normally); the airbag light will come on but will go OFF soon after; this is indicating that it is reset. You can start an engine just to confirm that it will stay off.

On my 2017 Nissan Versa this is what I did: Ignition on, light comes on and it stays blinking, wait 4 seconds and ignition off. Do it four times and then start the engine. The light comes on with all the other lights, but it goes off , it does not stay on blinking like it was.

Ok. Got it to work reading another procedure list. The first 3 repeated steps, instead of waiting for the light to do its first flash, turn off when the light first turns off. Don’t wait for it to turn on again. So. Turn the key to on, the AB light will come on for about 7 seconds. As soon as the light goes out, turn the key to off, wait 5 seconds and repeat 2 more times.

Was a little tricky at first but just did the timing with the video and it worked in fact mine went off off without doing the slow flashing
