That is subjective but overall you are right. The Germans learns some hard lessons from their WW2 tanks where they were excessively overengineered and logistical support was a nightmare as tank variants had zero parts compatibility with each other
@@martinrasmussen7754 Mr A Hole. If you have nothing to add to the conversation keep your childish opinion to yourself. I know enough about a tank I was around for 8 years. OK A Hole. Nothing to add to the conversation so they have to their ignorance. And you do it well.
When they say a road range of 190 miles, they better have a long supply of fuel trucks to feed this diesel guzzler. I am not sure where this mini tank is going to fit in. Is it because it is lighter and less armored than the M-1 A2 that it can go places the M-1 can’t? Also why put a 105 on it when they could have a 120 to match the M-1 A2? Having the same ammunition makes sense for compatibility between the 2 different tanks. I hate to be negative but this vehicle seems less of a tank and more an IFV but without the Infantry. Why aren’t they coming up with a replacement vehicle for the M-1 with all the new info we have found out with tank vulnerabilities versus drones in the Ukraine conflict?
The export model Abrahms being sent to Ukraine dont have the same armor as US Abrahms so they wont withstand the same amount of damage or in same spots. This vehicle isnt a tank or ifv. it is a high mobility rocket launcher.
Himars is awesome in many ways, an incredible piece of technology, but economy is not its strength. A single missile can cost millions, in comparison to a GPS guided artillery shell costing a fraction with roughly same effect albeit not as far away...
Could use some self-defense; just in case. Ma Deuce, and/or rpg system of some sort. The proof will be in the pudding; just put it out there and see how it does in the real world. There may be modifications.
It is, very slyly constructed. Notice the proving grounds? Ft Sill. More ordinance tested there than you can wrap your mind around. Collectively, since before, during and after, WWII! MIND BOGGLING!
Let's face it the Germans have made some of the best tanks since WW2 and this one is no exception

The KF-41 Lynx is an excellent platform! 😊
Scanning radar sticks out like a sore thumb.... how small a weapon would it take to knock it out?
Where is the dealership so I can buy one.
The M1 a2 has a120 mm smoothbore main gun. Only the m1 had a 105 riffled main gun.
That’s what I was going to say lol
And so what mr clever.

HIMARS is a game changer.
1. Too heavy (70tons) to cross bridges, soft ground or carry on a plane
2. Too costly $11,000,000.00 million
3. Huge, complex maintenance support
Lynx looks like its gonna give the bradley a run for its money
And its GREEN!

What company builds the vehicle for the HIMARS system?
Lockheed Martin builds it. One of the big 5 that makes everything for the American military.
Is the US the only one that uses explosive armor to reduce shaped charges
@@user-ns5kv2rj5k No. Nato, Russia and I'm guessing China all have them.
