The Cargo Ship SV in the Republic of the Marshall Islands

The cargo ship SV Kwai has been owned by the Republic of the Marshall Islands since January 2021. SV Kwai travels to all atolls, bringing in copra to Majuro Atoll, and passengers to nearby atolls. She has shown that she is capable of carrying loads of cobra and passengers altogether. As part of our GIZ project supporting the Marshall Islands to transition to low carbon sea transport, we are happy and proud that the ship is sailing through Marshallese waters using wind propulsion as an energy efficient solution.

I thought that the Marshall Islands Government already owned the Kwai, oh well they do now 🙄😁 Fair Winds 🌬💨 and Flowing Seas 🌊 and I wish them every success in the future
