Are you kidding, it's sometimes easier to get girls. Go to club, already have afterparty in the parking lot! RSD Jeffy has a van just for that purpose 😂
Womens comments on this story are hilarious... "OMG please Marry Me"..."Where is this guy so i can marry him".. "Would SO marry this guy".. "I want to have your Baby"... Women see a man who's living the care free life, happy, spontaneous, athletic, zero stress, adventurous and beholden to no one.. And what's a broads very first thought? "How can I Ruin this guy's life and get me a piece of that Major League Money Pie?"
In defense of the broads..er, I mean Womens, maybe they too romanticize about life on the road with him!....although he'll have to get a bigger van and then babies...
It's kinda self explanatory. But I will break it down a little bit : First of all he's young, he's a successful athlete, has allot of money but he's not interested in buying a big mansion, expensive cars, going to clubs and paying 500 bucks for a bottle of wine and so on. He lives in a van, he goes surfing. He's living the moment and he's not tied down to something material. Being able to afford this, for me at least, it's much more awesome than living in luxury. He could retire anytime and continue living like this.. he's life won't change a bit.
Jay Quintana Exactly, instead of blowing his money to impress others, he is living on his terms. The money will grow and be there when he needs it. At least with that he does not need to be anyones bitch.
INFJ I have no idea what "jelious" is... Unless you mean "JEALOUS" then ok, I understand now but, no I'm not jealous.. Envious of his ambition perhaps but, jealous? No.. This is how this works. While all his teammates are driving porsches and new ferrari’s each year, this kid is stacking his money and putting it up. When his career and all his teammates careers are up, while everyone else is filing bankruptcy, taxes, divorces etc..this guy will be sitting very nice with money to last him and his kids lifetime…For his teammates, laugh now, cry later.
+Don Johnson Well truth be told, he probably couldn't buy a Porsche right now even if he wanted to. Isn't he still just a minor league prospect? If he gets to the major leagues I doubt he'd still be living this way. He probably won't go nuts, but I could see him getting a decently nice house...

+NYC Brownian Yeah that sounds about right. No responsibilities, nowhere else to be. It's actually quite funny because I also consider myself to live a fairly "care free" lifestyle, in other words sometimes i'm just lazy and don't feel like doing anything, but I still go to the gym everyday and go to work 5 days a week. Still lazy, but still have drive for other things.
Super guy ! Has looks and money at a young age and is just giving the finger to the whole materialist world that he lives in. You have to love that. I will always cheer this guy.
I love what he has decided to do. Its a very peaceful way of living. Especially when your out on your board In the Ocean, sitting and waiting between sets. When your out there, its like the whole World just goes away. All your bad thoughts, any negativity, problems... They have no place out there in the water. Just pure, unsaturated calming bliss. On another note, Norris has money now, might as well make his living conditions better. When I was young, living at Huntington Beach in CA, My buddy got a VW bus just like the one Norris has. Dont know if Norris knows this or not but a Porche 911 motor is a perfect fit if he ever decides to fix his motor problems. Would be an easy swap. And would add some major horsepower. Ha, then his VW bus would be a true sleeper. When we did it, about 10 years ago, those motors by themselves were about $3,000, so Im sure that they are a bit cheaper. If I was in his position, I would give that Classic a $5k remodel. Would be so sick!
He has no bad thoughts, negativity, or problems. He's a millionaire pitcher in the MLB and he doesn't have to pay any bills. He is already set for life.
This guy is from my town and my sister was in the same high school the same time he was. Probably the only famous person from JC but y’a he’s pretty cool.

he understood the game better than most of us ! the gov makes u work hard in exchange of some paper (money) then they steal it from u in other ways (buying brands, names and things u barely need for life...) this guy right here is a stone in their way
No, not well said lmao. The government doesn make you work, let alone work hard for anything, they actually facilitate people not working. Then they don't "steal" it from you in the form of consumerism, I could see you make the argument for taxes but what the fuck. You know who's he's actually sticking it too? Other people. He still pays taxes on his income. He's sticking it to people, consumerism is in fact what creates jobs.
MultiSim89 He's actually a devout Christian and lives as a monk with an ascetic lifestyle. He spends his time reading Holy Scripture and in meditation and prayer.
Too bad you can't do this without having money in the first place. I'd love to buy a camper and travel, but unfortunately I have to make my money at the same place 5 days a week year round.
Phil Latio wtf no shit, that's why you save up. You can easily work while in high school at a shitty job like McDonalds. You act like his van cost 30,000$ dollars.
***** I'm not saying it's an expensive way to live, obviously it's just the opposite. But if something doesn't work out or a disaster hits, he has a lot of money to fall back on. At any time he could buy a house or rent a hotel if he gets in an accident. It's a stress-free way of living because he has that cushion. It applies more to what I said about traveling though. I'd either have to save an enormous amount or find a way to make money on the move.
It's refreshing to see someone enjoying and promoting a more humble style of living, and that success hasn't changed him. So many times I see people complaining about their life, their circumstances, etc, etc, etc...and yet they don't see or understand the opportunities before them. True freedom comes from shedding old habits and thoughts, humbling yourself to just your needs, and living closer to nature. This man is living a new day everyday, instead of being stuck in a repetitive typical lifestyle that so many grow tired of. I'm kind of surprised (because of his success) that he hasn't bought a winnebago with a full bathroom and a bit more space and comfort, but I respect him more for sticking with the van.
Why doesn't he put some of that money into his van, so he doesn't have to worry it starting or dying while he's trying, and then he can go any where he wants?

Womens comments on this story are hilarious... "OMG please Marry Me"..."Where is this guy so i can marry him".. "Would SO marry this guy".. "I want to have your Baby"...
Women see a man who's living the care free life, happy, spontaneous, athletic, zero stress, adventurous and beholden to no one.. And what's a broads very first thought? "How can I Ruin this guy's life and get me a piece of that Major League Money Pie?"
rainmechanic Amen
In defense of the broads..er, I mean Womens, maybe they too romanticize about life on the road with him!....although he'll have to get a bigger van and then babies...
rainmechanic Truth is; women see men as ATM machines, and men see women as Sex machines.
Why on Earth would an ATM want to marry a sex machine?
rainmechanic Wow it seems you nailed it. I can totally see girls are just dying to live in this van months at a time. Their dream come true. B.S.
Honesty Counts I want my woman to be an ATM and a sex machine...is that too much to ask!?

Adrian Nakic I don't disagree, I just would like the concept explained
It's kinda self explanatory. But I will break it down a little bit : First of all he's young, he's a successful athlete, has allot of money but he's not interested in buying a big mansion, expensive cars, going to clubs and paying 500 bucks for a bottle of wine and so on. He lives in a van, he goes surfing. He's living the moment and he's not tied down to something material. Being able to afford this, for me at least, it's much more awesome than living in luxury. He could retire anytime and continue living like this.. he's life won't change a bit.
here's a guy who's got his act together. Here's a guy who's got it all figured out. Here's someone who has the answer.

+Paul Walker This is so true.
+Paul Walker look poor? This guy looks rich to me, look at that attitude.
+Paul Walker what gets in the way of finding oneself, to be at peace, is the insecurities of wanting to be accepted by others, otherwise feeling isolated,
meaning something must be wrong.
+Paul Walker Depends what makes you rich. Is it money? For some people being rich has nothing to do with money

He's happy in it and VW's last for years and years and years.
Jessica Reid maybe the vehicle overall is but aTHAT particular one isn't he said it dies at random times as a motorcycle mechanic I would say that any vehicle wether it be on 2 wheels or 4 that's stops or dies randomly isn't reliable

Nah, see the way i look at it. Him having to maybe get a jump from somebody or fix a minor mechanical problem. Hes keeping himself grounded in his fundamental state of being free.

He's going to have a ridiculous amount of money saved up when he retires.
I don't think that's what he cares about tho...
Not really he chooses a lazy life because it's stress free. He doesn't do any endorsements probably because he's lazy. Endorsements make a lot of money the players that actually are business minded will make more money.
+NYC Brownman lazy is the wrong word. He just chooses to live a carefree lifestyle.

@@dr3nch_g0d52 The starting problem is easy. He needs to convert it over to a 12V electrical system and switch his generator out for an alternator. Too bad you can't do this without having money in the first place. I'd love to buy a camper and travel, but unfortunately I have to make my money at the same place 5 days a week year round.
Phil Latio Well, there is such a thing as working online.
Phil Latio How does having a five day a week job prevent you from living in a van?
Phil Latio bust your ass off for like...6 months. save up. buy van/build it up, hit the road.
He's hot humble and patient great qualities
It's refreshing to see someone enjoying and promoting a more humble style of living, and that success hasn't changed him.
So many times I see people complaining about their life, their circumstances, etc, etc, etc...and yet they don't see or understand the opportunities before them.
True freedom comes from shedding old habits and thoughts, humbling yourself to just your needs, and living closer to nature.
