ok coming back to actually say stuff, the chord progression at 1:33 sounds super good and i rlly like how chaotic the instrumental is during detg’s rant (2:37) it fits with the song a lot and as a whole i like the orchestral vibe you went for with the woodwinds(? sorry i dont actually know instruments well) and stuff, and of course the lyric section sounds great, ik it’s still redtv but the way you edited it sounds rlly nice, and the melodies from 4:49 onward are fr*cking beautiful overall a really good mix, even though this isn’t for irida i wouldn’t complain if it was although the instrumental is a bit quiet but ik you acknowledged the mixing issues already
This remix was made basically because I had my issues with the original, mainly the fact that instrumental and structure wise it was really repetitive at times, which put me off a lot while listening to it,. That's why I tried to differentiate every section the song has from each other, even if it's just a change in the drums pattern (that's why I made a totally original section for the final stretch, among other things). The fact that the genre is now orchestral rock was just because it's one of my favourite genres and I think it hasn't been done justice in the fnf community (fun fact, this song was also made to test out this genre before using it for another song of mine I want to do). Then I'll recommend to download flps from songs you like, it will make you understand how songs are structured, people like coquers or sturm tend to share their flps. Last of all, join discord servers, talk to other musicians, share your stuff and listen to others' stuff, it helps you get constant feesback from other people and tips from profesional musicians. I remember there was like an fnf music discord server ran by some big naves in the community, I don't know where to find it tho.
