This movie themed park opened in 2016 and features 7 roller coasters, along with a fantastic variety of dark rides and other attractions. In this vlog we show you everything that Motiongate Dubai has to offer, including all of the rides and themed areas. It amazes me how these parks operate. They must make a huge loss. Every vlog I've ever watched from Dubai/UAE the parks are deserted. Beautiful though themeing at Motiongate!
It doesn’t seem sustainable at all!! It’s crazy.
I wonder if it’s anything to do with advertising or just that some foreign visitors just don’t resonate with Middle Eastern culture. Hence not many tourists.

@@86wellacre Personally despite being a big parks buff, I just don't have any interest in visiting the country & supporting their economy. Lot of shady stuff with workers going on in UAE.

What an amazing park with a really nice balance of rides. Some of those queues are top notch. The John Wick queue set design is one of the coolest I’ve ever seen.

Love the vlog. We went in August 23 and it was super hot, seeing all the fantastic theming is making us want to go back.
I just can’t understand why they don’t get so many visitors as the park is amazing.

What a fantastic Park and great layout. The animated Dreamworks section looked really good and very detailed with Shrek, Madagasca and HTTYD (I love Toothless) ❤ Poor Charlotte's face ha ha when she got drenched on the rapids ride 😂 I've been on the Popeye ride at Universal Shawn lol - good job it was sunny to dry off ! The Hotel Transylvania ride was long too. There's 4 films out to watch. Not a Smurf fan but the ride had lots of action and things to look at. Having the character actors out and about is good. Great vlog👍
Fantastic way to start to the trip for the 1st vlog the dreamwork indoor area looked incredible but the cloudy with a chance of meatball water ride was so funny couldn't stop laughing 😂😂😂😂

Stayed at Dubai Parks and Resorts back in July 2018, so we had full access to the then 3 parks here! Such a great park, would definitely go back if I could.

Fab vlog, takes me back , when we visited last year, the parks were so quiet when we visited in August as well, that meatballs water ride got us as well, but was nice in the 40c heat, now you see me ride, hunger games area brilliant, hope people start visiting :) 😊

This park looks amazing! Like a dream for theme park fans who are also movie fans. I would book myself a ticket, but my goodness, is it far away and expensive to get there. This park would get so much more visitors if this stands in Europe.

I mean, it's really only enthusiasts that care that much about filming, and it's not enthusiasts that generate the overwhelming majority of revenue for parks. I would guess the problem is something other than that.

Wow this park looks great! I’ve never heard of it before. Didn’t even realise Dubai had theme parks. Very quiet. I wonder if the school holidays are a lot busier? We can only go in the school holidays because I am a teacher but would definitely consider a February half term visit next year to this place! I couldn’t visit in the summer, it would be too hot for me. The hotel you’re stopping at looks great too.

That place was so well kept , although quiet it was definately a well funded, well presented theme park , shame the numbers arent higher , although us in the west do have a bigger obsession with theme parks it seems , if you built this in England it would be packed

This is straight-up empty compared other theme parks around the world.
It just goes to show the results you can achieve when you're free to pre-plan every detail of a brand new park to be built from the ground up. Perfection!

The Shrek dark ride is what Universal Studios Singapore should have built in their massive Far Far Away Castle instead of a cloned 4D cinema attraction.

56:29 the world's only coaster with platform screen doors. Platform gates, normal in the coaster world-although I know the Giant Inverted Boomerang/Invertigo have full height gates instead of closer to the waist like what is expected.

Some people have stated how empty it is, however you have visited in January. A lot of tourism is from summer holidays as I know many people personally who are visiting for the summer.

Great vid, Curious, how do these types of parks survive when they're built for huge crowds but hardly anyone goes to them?
It’s crazy how quiet they are most of the time. There’s just so much money over here to keep them operational I guess!

Sadly the locals couldn’t care less about theme parks, and the tickets are quite expensive, just a shame really with how nice the park is, but at least the waits are short! You used to be able to film on rides for the first year from memory, then it stopped suddenly. The only thing these parks in DPR seem to miss is key theming on the rides, for example Green Hornet coaster was originally meant to have tunnels and generally a lot to look at, but the budget seemed to have ran out after doing the queues. Nothing to complain about in the queue lines though, sometimes they are more exciting than the ride itself! I am just watching the video as I type and I noticed you said the same! If they invested in the right things, it would be so much better. For example, the huge fake shops by the Now You See Me coaster, there’s no need, and theming on the rides itself would be preferable! Expect to see bigger queues in waterparks and also on Yas Island! Make sure to do some tourist attractions too, if you can! Enjoy yourselves!

We followed you by going August 18 , i think you did film the onride Madagascar coaster back then , i screamed the whole way round ..also yes it was deserted only about 50 people in the park. I did enjoy the hanging coaster and hotel tran.

Great video love the theme park vids but If you want tonsee on ride footage from this park. Check out the side menu hide and seek there is loads of onride footage.

Can't believe how quite the park is guys, I honestly would think a park like that would be busy year round. Maybe it's the thing in Dubai but I could guarantee back home Alton Towers would be a lot busier given the fact it's 23 degrees.
