    Wow I had no idea that Geoff was so up on his philosophy. I mean his personal philosophy. He is not just a hard man, but a very wise man. Even more respect.

    Geoff has an aura which makes you want more. Who couldn't listen or watch him, and not take notice. There aren't many people you can truly admire anymore...

    I do not have the vocabulary to describe what GT stands for. An inspiration, a mentor, a friend.

    I've had to practice forgiveness in my life, forgiving bullies who almost drove me to the point of death. I am a huge advocate of forgiveness, after-all it's free. However, I still struggle as of recent years, walking the forgiveness path can sometimes seems just as hard as the retributive path and I fall back into anger, bitterness and depression which for me is often crippling. That image of jesus on the cross 2000 years ago certainly helps me walk the forgiveness pathway.
    Geoff Thompson is some horse.

    i look at it like this, the people who molested me were caught and punished, sure i think they should have gone to prison for longer but, if i fill my life with hate and anger then i'm punishing myself i'm poisoning my life not theirs, i have "forgiven" them and now i'm free to be happy, they dont have any hold or influence over me anymore. You're right forgivness doesn't take away the crime and they should be punished in modern society that is not my role, others can do that better than me.

    Wise words from GT once again! You cant bottle up your negative experiences. You have to let them go otherwise they will eat you up from the inside.

    ROMANS 12:20 - On the contrary;
    "If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
    if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
    In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head."

    I agree, legally for society to forgive them is too dangerous.

    @lmollot. I feel your anger, but with due respect, and i say that as a fellow human being, if you really listen to what Geoff is saying , and take those words, and the pure energy behind the language, then you should be able to understand the message. It's taken me 40 years to get a slight grasp on it, but i know that to project negative energy is negative. Not the easiest concepts to wrap your head around, but an essential lesson to be learnt.

    Geoff, you are a better than i could ever be, i've read nearly all your books and watched your short films. I wonder though....talking about forgiveness?, could you geoff, forgive a man who kidnapped your child and repeatedly raped and abused her then left her for dead?. If you found the guy who done that, before the police, would you in all honesty walk up to him and shake his hand and say "i forgive you"?. Bearing in mind that todays judicial system is a joke.

    @etherform66 just because they both worship the same God does not refute what alr8ty said that Jesus preached forgiveness.

    People have an illness that needs to be treated called rejection (or sin). Jesus is willing to give you the treatment (forgiveness) for free. If you refuse it, then can you really blame God when you die and suffer? The book of Revelation calls Hell the second death. If your soul dies with the knowledge you showed above, then you can't blame God. Jesus died to give you a chance, but you've rejected Him. There's no point in whining when the obvious thing happens. I hope you change your mind, man.
