Normally I cook for 3 minutes, even though the instructions say 2 minutes. I find the softness is just right after 3 minutes. A lot of people say Maggi curry noodle is the best, but I like Mamee curry noodle more because I find the texture and Q-ness of the noodle better. You can also try Penang White Curry noodle from the brand MyKuali, the soup is much better but it's a little more spicy. It is ranked top among Malaysia's instant noodles.
Start from bottom... Asam laksa. Im from Penang the taste of maggi asam laksa has nothing same with the real asam laksa. Yes literally no. Tomyam. It taste artificial tomyum taste so if i want to eat tomyum i rather cook myself. It wasn't hard to cook tomyum drom scratch though. Ayam. It's not i like it or not but i see myself eating maggi ayam when i feel like eat something light. Maggi kari. Cant remember when did i start eating it but im sure it's more than 2 decade. Love it 🫰 About the question. You can drink the soup. It's just some people avoid drink it is because the MSG. To compare it with dry noodle like mee goreng, we consume more msg than the soup instant noodles. Also I thought of this. As Chinese, I understand very well why east Asian likes to slurp some soup while eating noodles but I don't think the Malay, Indian or the non East asian do that. Maybe they do but I believe it's very less.
You can cook and eat it the way you like because it is supposed to be cooked by us consumers, and thus its up to us to make it they way we enjoy to eat it the most. The preparation instructions? Don't bother... that's merely a suggestions by them, who love to eat it that way 😅 My favourite is curry flavor since its the strongest IMHO where you could 'slightly modify the taste' with added ingredients without losing its strong curry essence. The options of soup or dry type is depending on my mood at the time but mostly dry, with only half of the seasoning powder provided + chilli sauce + soy sauce/oyster souce and if I am feeling a bit fancy, add half-boiled egg as well. And check if there's any left over sachets of chilli flakes from previous Domino's Pizza order just to add some kick 😂
Hi i have a lot of experience about this maggi in terms eating without soup or with soup doesnt matter because it very common brand in Malaysia.Im malaysian so it doesn't hurt my feeling if u eat it both ways ❤
Nice one Joe-chan and coincidentally I just have Maggie Goreng Ayam as dinner Joe-chan and amazingly you can finish all 4 of it Joe-chan 😂😂, my favorite is Ayam & Curry, can't handle asam laksa & tom yam coz cannot eat sour spicy 😅😅 I always estimate and never follow the instruction on cooking but still satisfy the taste 😆😆Luna-chan sneak in and feel sad😂 Luna-chan: Joe-chan so bad enjoy nice food on your own again (quietly sneak under the sofa with disappointment) 🤣🤣 Maggie can cook dry by let it soak into water for 2 minutes, dry up the water and cook as fried noodles 😂😂 Any Japan brand instant noodle can recommend besides Nissin & Ichiran Joe-chan? 😊
Sooooo Beautiful and soo much Maggie! My favourite is Tom Yam ! Same as Joe 🇲🇾❤🇯🇵🎉
