There are three types of houses in rural Korea.
1. Houses that are lived by young couples, or middle class rural residents. (mainly American or European style)
2. Old people's 1980s-1970s-style houses (red brick houses/blue-roofed orange roof houses)
3. Abandoned houses that were abandoned when the elderly died or their owners moved elsewhere
