WDSU-TV New Orleans, La. 50th Anniversary special from December, 1998. This 2 hours special is a combination of two separate specials that aired celebrating WDSU's 50 years in television. The first hour is hosted by Norman Robinson, Susan Roesgen and Alec Gifford. The second hour is hosted by long-time WDSU reported Alec Gifford.

Wow, they went all out for this one! Two hours!! Good timing, too, coming amidst the Pulitzer-Hearst/Argyle merger.
A little interesting to see WDSU's involvement in the World's Fair - they might have been the first, but even in 1998 to say they were the only TV studio at a fair was dead wrong (see: Brisbane 1988). Holy mid-80s neon!

We were the only local station with a TV studio at the 1984 World's Fair in New Orleans.
