Ive got the chance ti buy two N24s (one in each colour - i like both) or a USA N4. Apart from the obvious material differences, can anyone tell me what the differences in olayability and sound are like? I dont know whether to go the uktra expensive version or get the two. Are the N24s are a solid purchase, or is the N4 something truly out of the stratosphere and worth the extra thousands fir me to buy it? Can ANYONE please help me out with any info or insights?
Having owned both the N24 and the N4 Vintage, I can say that the N4 Vintage was miles above in quality, playability and tone. The neck shape on the N4 was just better for me. I could feel the quality difference. I could hear the quality difference. Yes, the N4 is expensive. Only you can make the decision on if it is worth it to you. However, the N4 is a far superior guitar to the N24.
Different body woods. The neck profile Is a bit different. Whether or not that is a good thing is up to you. The N24 neck has a bit more mass. Not too much, but it is noticeable.
Nice playing. I have a N24 on the way. Without routing the slot for the DTuna. Can you still pull up on the trem a fair amount without hitting the body? I plan on adding a DTuna as well.
I am running the N24 into a 2005 Splawn QuickRod head. EVH 412 cab. I’m using a Weber MASS 200 to tame the volume. I have an Eventide H9 for pitch shift and a Strymon Timeline in the loop for delays.
Radar Yoder lol. Sorry for the mix up. I am using 3rd gear OD1 with the gain around noon. If I want to have any sort of clean channel, I have to run it like this.
I remember when you could get the original ones used for about $300 on Craigslist in my region. I guess I should have jumped on one back in the day.. Love that Splawn dude! I've always wanted one but I'm a bedroom player and I have no need for that much amp.. 😂😂 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Nice chops dude
Big Sauce thank you!

If you want the D-Tuna to work properly, you have the block the term from moving backward. So no pull ups.
Slow drag 🤘🏻🤘🏻
What gear are you using?
