I literally just subscribed because I was looking for Finland vlogs and realized there are 2 Filipino restaurants in Finland and I happened to click on this vlog and it was destiny hahaha
How fantastic! Hope you guys had a great time. First, I am born in Finland. I grew up in Stockholm, where I was educated to a chef. Not whatever chef- Ich bin ein Kaltemamselle! Stumbled over your report researching for fine dining for my siblings...what you missed is maybe LIHAKEITTO, traditional Finnish meat soup ( surprisingly I got as tasty equivalent in Yogyakarta, Java! - which me and my best pal ate EVERY day when there). You missed the info about Knackwürst; Finland like Switzerland have extremely high quality sausages, high food hygiene standards, the hardest in Europe! And sausages comes in three classes: the best sausages are have whole meat content of 80%. Cinnamon rolls is a Swedish import, Skagen salad is a typical Swedish thing, too. But what you missed the most is PORONKÄRISTYS / VILTSKAV ( I am bilingual fin/ swe): the traditional reindeer stew with lingonberries and yellow forest mushroom, all perfumed with some spruce needles and juniper berries, which are part of the secret of the smoking of salmon. I live in Denmark and do badly miss the delicate smoking, here they use the sawdust/ chip of Avery. It gives a bitter smoke. And maybe you should have tried Finnish National food, makaroonilaatikko. Known as pastitsio in Southern Europe, this oven- baked Allspice fragrant pasta dish with meat and onions is stable food in every Finnish household. It originates from Old Karelians, my ethnic group, the WWII expelled people who came into Finland with the art of baking and cooking. Food in Finland evolved after 1944. Karelians knew macaroni before Marco Polo invented pasta to Italians and Europe. It was traded from China through Silk Road in ancient times when the old Finland produced things like iron ore, SMOKED SALMON, furs and fragrant resins, juniper berries and stuff. So Karelian pies, the artisanal ones, hand made, is also a must do. That’s what I wished to contribute with!
Great video, I loved Helsinki! I also went to Savotta and loved it! You did a great job covering so much of the food and sights, can't believe the water was frozen though while you were there! Cannot wait to see your Thailand adventures!
i like the way he list all his equipment for his production ,...ahahah makes the whole thing fun...its like the credits of his movie ad the end..just like hollywood does by showing cast and producers etc....hahaha nice work ..i am a photo& videographer so i kinda enjoy his End credits :)

Great video very interesting I want to go to Finland in January. I was curious what was the name of the place you ate at in the Old Market where you were trying several Foods?
Watching this during lockdown hehe. I have noticed that this video was more on eating. Loving you two ❤️ Hope you'll be able to visit Davao Again and try Samal beaches.
Great food tours and the food did very tasty just wondering how did the reindeer taste was it a very gamey taste and if you know how does it compare to white tail deer. the Elk meat looked tasty as well.
Let me get this straight. You are a German/Austrian couple that has moved to MIAMI, FLORIDA and is visiting HELSINKI, FINLAND in January/February where the temperature is -20 Celsius and you are looking forward to getting out of that "HELL" to go to BANGKOK, THAILAND where the weather is WARM???? You have got to make up your minds!!
Yeah, Nelly Hold it to your head 11:10 so we have an idea how big it is-LOL Nelly, we all know how it's going to sit on 7:40 LOL you guys are awesome!!! plz stop 11:39 LOL
No offense but I think you really have to promote your channel. It is sad for me to see so many great and high quality content but a small groups of viewers.I know not every youtuber are aiming for view, fame and money but your content and film skills are really great and I'm sure more people will like to discover your channel.Again, just my opinion.Enjoy your travel😊
Haha none taken - and thank you 🙏 youtube takes time when you focus on what you are passionate about and not viral content like challenges and pranks 🤗 we‘ll get there soon
It is very weird that you guys found everything delicious in Helsinki. It is obvious that either you have not eat any nice food before, or you have really sick taste. The food really sucks here.

The food and drink is cheaper then Dublin but I wish you would have given us more prices.
Quick question:
Wouldn't the seafood be from the Baltic Sea, rather than the North Sea?
hmm not sure
love this video. but North sea in Helsinki? common :P
I misread the coffee shop to “Elefant”🤣🤣🤣
