The other parts of his game were outstanding but the shots at goal are atrocious.

He kicked nine goals over the last two games at Box Hill. At AFL level he doesn't relax and runs around to snap the ball which means he misses. Dillon Moore didn't make the distance from about twenty out trying to snap around the body. Had he kicked a drop punt...he'd have foaled. No doubt on my mind. Watson and Ginny should put the snap away until they are making scoreboard impact.
If I heard correctly, the fifth highest H/A crowd of all time. 40-45% of that crowd were Hawks fans though. Every time we locked a goal that joint was rocking. It was a replacement game for full members so lots of folks would've booked reserved ticket through the app to see, not only Dustin Martin's 300th but to watch our young team playing a very good brand of footy.
Of the five teams on 28 pts we have the lowest percentage due to being belted early on, that 76pt loss to Sydney really hurt our percentage. Also w,e, and the Western Bulldogs have played 14 games, the one team, GWS, has played only 12, the others have played 13. We have a bye this coming week it begins to even out. I hope we rest up well and loads of blokes are fighting for and competing for spots to make the trip to Perth. CARN THE HAWKS!!
no problem, there are many with the same number of points or just 4 to 8 apart, if the hawks manage to keep this consistency it's very likely to climb the ladder soon. NExt match is against the eagles, another great opportunity to make 4 more points
Hawks fans are sick of that shoddy kick around the corner, it spins forward and naturally drops short, especially when kicking at goal(Ginnivan amd Moore know this all too well) and puts the receiver, if intended as a pass, under heaps of pressure. Sicily kicked a dinky little one to James Worpel in the final qtr which dropped short and Worpel couldn't mark, three Tigers forwards were sniffing around and, even thougb Sicily tried to help out Worps, he just turned it straight over and the Tigers easily goaled. Dinky kicks off the instep from halfback can take a rest for the rest of the season. And dodgy kicks around the corner when you are fifteen metres out on a slight angle? No! A drop punt please. Three others from Sicily durimg the game dropped short the same way and put his teammates under extreme pressure. Sicily did pull a off four or five but a nice clean drop punt works much better. Jai Newcombe is a bull.Karl Amons kicking is a thing of beauty amd James Weddle does great things all over the ground. CARN THE MIGHTY HAWKS!!!
Low quality game by who? Both teams kicked 13 beho D's which suggests the kicking at goal could've been better but the tempo and style of the game was pretty decent. Overall disposal and disposal efficiency were pretty even. Richmond turned the ball over a bit more but the Tigers have a developing team like the Hawks but are in different stage. They'll turn things around soon enough.
