Not only is it a little less taxing on you guys on the editing front, but there's something fascinatingly priceless about how, when we're expecting the renders from Shadow and Omega to have entered the main screen, all we see is darkness. That, and they're mostly sassy and gloomy comedy wise, so the payoff is so worth it! 😂
Originally I was going to just put their character renders on the screen but make it pretty dark, but there was just something bizarre and funny to me about making it literally just pitch black under the dirt It also made the scenes where Shadow DID light up the space with his chaos emerald stand out more meaningfully. When they get the uhhh... "guest"... in their first hole, it was so much better to have him PIERCE THE BLACKNESS and reveal Shadow and Omega's faces for the first time in the episode xD An odd approach to the editing yes, but a stylistic choice I found to be pretty funny lol. I decided to just commit to the bit haha

I gotta say, I REALLY like how Chaoscord has taken shape. It has everything that I love about the old Ask the Sonic Heroes format, but made so that we can ask a larger variety of characters besides just 3 characters. Helps the pacing for me, hearing so many characters interacting with each other.
Just finished the episode, no wonder Sonic was happy today, he got to host instead of answer questions, also the Shadow questions almost made me fall on the floor laughing! Also poor Blaze kept getting marriage questions! And Omega kept getting wholesome questions.

Thank you, I'm glad we could cheer you up a little! Thanks for the compliments on the outfits! I commissioned my friend CuteyTCat to draw them for me, since I was away on a long business trip and couldn't access my art materials for most of the time I was editing the episode. Some of the outfits were based on/inspired by outfits the characters wore in some previous Valentines Day episodes, but some of them CuteyTCat designed totally herself, and they all came out so cute!

It seems Shadow and Silver have finally started being friends. Because I don’t think they got into any arguments in this episode.
It might help that they weren't in the same room as each other, lol, the distance made it harder for Shadow to tease Silver -- but also, Silver doesn't let himself get picked on as much anymore, he's gotten braver and more confident, and Shadow generally seems to respect that! I think the closest they got to arguing at all in this one was Silver genuinely asking why Shadow buried himself alive knowing it would probably backfire, and all Shadow could do was just tell him to shut up lol

Loved the episode. There were so many good moments. We even got some unexpected character cameos. Nice to see Mighty, Ray, Whisper and Tangle referenced. Glad Shadow got out of the hole. Go Team Dark! Go get chocolate wasted!
I had some fun sitting there and thinking about who to draw in the Tour Guide images with Rouge haha. It seemed like a good chance to draw characters I don't normally get to do, so the "competent adventurers" were Mighty and Ray, and then Espio, Tangle, and Whisper, and the middle image with the "annoying idiots" as Rouge put it were Silver, Tails, and Sonic, who Rouge interacts with and jokes with all the time lol. I think the ones I don't draw often turned out cute though!
I can't make it to the premiere unfortunately, but I will check this out once I am able to though.

Well, it sounds like he asked Omega to dig a hole to bury themselves in, but Omega had made no promises about getting them out again! And even Chaos Control didn't actually work to get out, 'cause Shadow just teleported them to a DIFFERENT hole in the ground. What a disaster lol

I wish Amy was part of this instead of having to be relegated to the Cameo section.
Unfortunately my sister (the voice actress for Amy) wasn't available for recording, so we were only able to get some quick lines from her for this one! But she's going to be in the little Cupid Cream mini-videos asking questions to more characters alongside Cream, so that's something! :) My sister has a really busy full time job and someone at her workplace broke their leg, so she had to pick up some extra shifts around the time we were gonna record the episode, whew!

Thank you Nerkskerk, I'm glad you've enjoyed the Chaoscord episodes! They've mostly been a cute idea to "buy time" while I work on projects I need to finish before I can do Ask the Sonic Heroes: Episode 50 lol. I have big plans for that one, but there's so much other stuff I gotta finish first, and I got through Episode 49 too soon haha. So I did the Chaoscord spin off so we could still have episodes coming out over the holiday season, otherwise we wouldn't have had a Halloween, Christmas, or Valentines Day video lol
While I was happy to see Gadget in the video with Maria, I do wish that he was given a Valentine’s Day question. Oh well perhaps next year
