A little late, here is the unboxing and testing video of my new Jackson ProPlus Series Rhoads RR24SP F.
Specs :
Oukoume body w sapele top, ebony fretboard, maple / walnut / maple neck thru, compound radius (12" - 16") and 24 stainless steel jumbo frets.
It's got a floyd rose 1000 trem, 2 seymour duncan pickups TB6 and SH6-N and a 3-way toggle switch.
Very playable, gorgeous and cool passive metal sound !
On this video, Blues Magafam plays :
Madhouse by Anthrax, intro, first lead and rythm parts till pre-chorus.
Guitar is plugged into Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 and played through Bogren Digital plugins (ampknob). Lead is using also Replica XT delay.
Then Boom Magafam plays :
2 Minutes to Midnight by Iron Maiden : Dave Murray's solo, with the same setup.
And in the end, you can hear the clean sound of the guitar in each of the three switch position, without any effect and straight through the scarlett. The song is the intro of Dream Theater 's Endless Sacrifice.
The music under the unboxing has been written in June 2024 by Boom Magafam and is called "Into the Mouth of Hell", and is played with this guitar with nearly the same setup.
Bass is played by Boom Magafam too, and he realizes the mix.
Please notice that I am both Boom Magafam and Blues Magafam... kind of psycho 🤣

Really ? I like it on this guitar though.
Why? There's either option. If you don't like it.... just don't buy it. They have pretty much all guitars with the regular headstock available.
