      Facts, Game changing only comes when you fail to manage the game and have to rely on your athletic ability. It should not be understated or underappreciated , but it also should never be valued higher than game managing. If you game manage youll never be in that situation in the first place. I would also include movement in the pocket part of the game management piece, thats obviously needed on a play to play basis.

    When "The Plan" breaks down, which it usually does, the Game Changer can make a play. I agree executing the plan is important, but being able to make up for when the plan breaks down (defenses do that to you), that's what makes a QB elite.

    Look up the definition of manager, then tell me what you think. I'll take it all day long. The man in control with full responsibility. Truthfully speaking, every quarterback is a manager of the coach's wishes. Actually, the last two games that the Chiefs have played, Mahomes has been the perfect example of their definition of a game manager, but they'll never call him that.

  • @DRTREY-qf4iz
    @DRTREY-qf4iz 6 месяцев назад

    Cam Newton was a superior athlete that struggled to read a defense. When his athleticism was no longer superior he was no longer effective because he still couldn’t read the defense. These smaller QBs & QBs that lack superior athleticism (Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees) Baker, Brock, Burrow, don’thave the luxury to not know the scheme inside and out so they know the playbook & study defenses. Would’ve been terrifying if Cam could have had both in his bag.

    It's funny when I hear, "short little QB." Yet, Mahomes is 1 inch taller, 5lbs heavier, and they have the same hand size. Google it. Speaking facts.
