Josh, you read my mind! I purchased the green Yamatic hose and their shorty gun with swivel and quick connectors for $59. I love their shorty gun. I got some initial kinks in my hose. The more I use it, the better it gets. However, I should have spent the extra $20 and bought the Uberflex hose. I too, bought into their no kink advertisements. Both items were a nice upgrade to my $69 Portland power washer.

Yeah I bought the black one, it’s a 20$ difference. Not huge but almost half the price so I’ve been using a 25ft Walmart one an it’s more kinky then the yamatic one so im sure I’ll enjoy the quality
@IMJOSHV I've been using the green Yamatic 50 foot hose and the Yamatic 5000 psi gun (instead of the McKillan's stubby swivel gun) the last two months, and I'm very happy with them - no kinks or leaks, or other problems. The reason I chose the Yamitic products over the Uberflex and McKillan's is because I use a 3200 psi gas pressure washer, and the Uberflex and McKillan's psi are rated too low. Just picked up a Walmart brand Hart 35' this morning for $38. It has the Uberflex and number on it. have not used it yet but it feels good and acts just like your one.
If there was a huge difference in price then I would go with one of the hoses you showed but for a little more money I’ll stick with my uberflex hose, thanks Josh 👍😁
I just picked up a Greenworks GPW3001 and right in the manual it claims it comes with an Uber Flex hose. While the hose is really nice I don’t think it’s a real Uber Flex brand hose. It feels good but not as flexible as what I imagine a real Uber flex hose, which I’ve never felt, does. Awesome video thanks so much.
If it says ProPulse on it and has that patent number it should be a genuine uberflex hose. The blue one that came with my Greenworks seems to be genuine at least. I just didn't like the fact that it was only 25 feet long.
Glad I found your videos. Just finally bought a pressure washer even though I’m mainly rinseless. But spent the same amount on the hose and other accessories. Can’t wait for them to get here 😂
I have the green yamatic 50’ hose and I have used it about 4 times and it’s already showing significant signs of wear and tear mostly from tire rub vibration with my Westinghouse gas powered 3400psi pressure washer. I don’t know how much longer it will last but I think if I had a protective sleeve near the connector to the pressure washer it wouldn’t be a problem. Otherwise it’s a very good hose.
Yea yamatic sent me some of their hoses and they were decent the only complaint I had was the hard red collar at the end made it hard to have on my manual reel without a hard kink. The uberflex has a better design with the flexible collar.

I have a question i have a electric sunjoe sp 3000 i put a trigger wond on it and ever since the pressure washer pulsed its leaking just a little is this the reason for that… thx for video
OH MY GOD this is amazing timing. In AUSTRALIA we have Yomatic but the Amazon listing looks the same as the Yamatic and comes up whenever one searches for pro pulse by Uberflex or the flexzilla. I was considering it but went with the uberflex pro pulse mostly because you always mention it. :)

Josh, I have the yamatic hose in green, that I use at work and mine did the cracking too, but in my opinion I think it breaks the hose in going through the whole thing cracking it the whole way through, mine has been run over several times and is still holding up well after several months. I also have the Uber flex that I am saving for my mobile set up.
i recently moved away from 1/4 hose. just bought a kobrajet 3/8! its lifechanging. these hoses you reviewed are definitely good for starting out. After awhile, I needed more gpm and not really psi. 3/8 will do it for for ya.
Thank you for your youtube channels. I have learned a lot from you. The green hose looks nice for the money. Is there a proper way to adapt those M22 hose fittings to the Karcher proprietary bayonet for the K2 Battery washer set ? Obviously I need an adapter for that, but I could not find it on Amazon.
Question : Im thinking of getting an electric pressure washer for my setup. Is that a good idea/ bad idea? What kind of hose should i get to connect to connect it to the water outlet? ( no water tank )
Josh, there's a technique to hand coiling up hoses that will help with the spiraling you're experiencing (even with the Uberflex hose). I believe it comes from the movie industry's technique of winding electrical extension cords to prevent wasting time untangling them. It takes some time to learn but the first coil is like normal - just a "standard" coil - then, without letting go of the hose with the winding hand, you twist your hand inwards until it's palm up and you grab the hose with the "holding" hand. When done properly, you can literally hold one end and throw the rest of the cable outwards and it will fly out completely straight and end up laying flat on the ground with no coils. It's sometimes called "over and under." I'm sure I'm not explaining it very well, but in the end you wind up with a roll of hose that looks just like "normal" but sort of goes "back and forth" instead of a spiral. For those of us without a spool, it will prevent wasting time untangling the hose.
Just depends what the pump is rated at and what psi you’re running through it.The underflex hose is rated at 3100 (im my memory serves me well) but typically operate at about 1200psi
Looking for advise. What is the best most reliable pressure washer under $500 for detailing cars. I'm starting out and reviews on the good cheaper washers deter me.
After 2 years of usage, my uberflex failed on me. A section of the hose got bloated and stretched out. It bloated to the size of a small watermelon and looked like it was going to explode. I looked into the warranty but they only warranty pressure hoses for 1/2 a year. I did enjoy using it so I ordered the higher pressure red hose from them. Hopefully this one will hold up.
I have Sun Joe and was thinking upgrading pressure hose to Uberflex 50' but since its not steel braided and so flexible will it hold the pressure steady not causing the unit to surge turning it on and off when not in use. Being a pro detailer have you experienced or heard of an issue like that ? Just curious before I make a purchase.
Hey Josh, I've been watching your videos like crazy and recently bought a ryobi 1800 psi 1.2 gpm electric power washer. However, where I live I need to extend everything to reach my car. I bought a 100ft hose for the inlet. And also a 100ft extension cord. Is there anything I should watch out for when using extension cords on power washers?
I wanted to ask you another question Josh have you ever heard of the pressure washer brand Ava from Norway I hear it’s got like a 10 to 20 year warranty. Do you know if they eventually come to the US?
I have a problem in the UK I can buy the hose but where do I get the adaptor to fit the Nilfisk P180 it is the one with the straight banjo not the 90 degree one. Can anyone link me please?
I have the green one and it has worked great for me. Sucks that it isn't quite as good as the Uberflex tho. The Yamatic stuff comes up all the time for Amazon Vine reviewers.
I purchased the Flexzilla 50ft 1/4 3600psi hose, is it less flexible than the 3100psi model ? I just received it today and it seems to be much less flexible than what you are showing on your video with the 3100psi model. Am i crazy ? Thanks
This might sound stupid but I'm getting my first house and power washer. I'm a little confused can I use a pressure washer hose as a regular garden hose If I get a short gun? I want to get the UberFlex but I'm confused If I also have to get a regular garden hose as well.
No garden hose is a completely different size and connector. Basically garden hose connects to the inlet of your pressure washer, and then the pressure washer hose like the Uberflex or yamatic will connect between the pressure washer outlet to the wand/gun. All pressure washers will come with a hose, but the cheaper models come with a crappy stiff hose which is hard to use and kinks, which is why he is recommending and testing these aftermarket hoses. Some of the slightly better pressure washers will come with a better hose though. For instance the Greenworks Pr 2300 electric pressure washer that he tested on this channel that you can buy at Lowe's for $250 comes with a 25 foot uberflex hose.
Quick question for you, have you ever purchased any hoses from Grainger? Is there any way you could possibly do a review/comparison video of the hoses they offer? There are allot of people out there with business accounts with them and rely on them solely because of that. Just wondering if it was something you could do or thing about doing. Just a question. Thanks for your time and consideration
To be honest I have the same problem with the Red Uberflex 30' hose. When unrolling the hose I always have to twist the line to straighten, the hose would wind itself up after walking back and forth a couple of times. I should've have went with the blue uberflex.
All hoses, ropes and cables twist when they are coiled. Every time you make a loop, you put a twist in it. There are different coiling techniques that are used to combat this, but the 'over and under' technique is probably best for a hose. It just basically involves put a counter twist into alternate loops. Problem solved. There are lots of videos which demonstrate it.
I got the green Yamatic bc they had 75’ but now I’m trying to return it. Any of you know how is the propulse carpet cleaner 75’ blue hose for mobile detailing?TY
I'm glad this came out when it did. Looks like I'll be sticking with Uberflex. I'm curious if you ever tested their 1/4" vs 5/16" vs 3/8" @ 50' length all on the same pressure washer to see if there's any change in performance?
yamatic also makes this hose in black... your hose wont look like dumpster after its first use... also... that uberflex is not that great... it might not kink... but it has mad MEMORY....
I prefer my Yamatic over my Uber flex’s, mine do not preform like yours. I have an Uber flex and a black max and they both coil up constantly. The Yamatic, like in your video, lays flat for me every time. Have you purchased a new Uber flex recently or do you use the same one every video, because I think yours is better than than average
I have a few of them and the latest one is probably from about 6 months ago.. I haven’t noticed any difference in any of them but maybe I’ll order another one to see
I have a ryobi 1800 psi 1.2 gpm pressure washer, Uber flex hose, McKillans gun, using Mjjc v2 pro foam cannon with 1.25 orifice, adams car shampoo 1.5 oz with 17 oz water. I am getting running foam. How can I get thicker foam?
Try a 1.1 orifice. That will get you thicker foam. If still not try changing your ratio of soap (ie. add more soap). I believe most use around 1:10 ratio (you are at 1:11.3; either increase your soap or decrease the water.)
I’ve got black Uber flex from Walmart and it’s just better then my standard pressure washer hose. But not significantly. It’s still have memory and it’s a mess. I’ve never used blue one but black hose not the same as blue one.
I already owned a very good 50 foot kobrajet press washer hose but it is not as flexible or pliable that I would prefer, always hard to coil back up but I manage anyway. So I see your recommendation on the UberFlex hose so I decided to buy one. I get it, hook it up, and very dissapointed. the pressure coming out of my gun was reduced tremendously. I switched back to my other hose, and got the normal pressure I was use to. very strong. Also this uberflex hose was much thinner in diameter than my kobrajet hose. Needless to say, i'm returning back to Amazon and getting my money back. Terrible hose.
I bought an Uberflex on your recommendation. It's well worth the money. Many thanks for your review.
I absolutely love my Uberflex hose, MJJC Foam cannon V2, and Ryobi pressure washer. All bought from recommendations from your channel. Cheers 🍻

The snapping sound you hear when you bend these is the fibers breaking as you stress them to the point of failure.

It’s the 1/4 inch x 50ft right??? Gonna get the flexzilla to match the ryobi lol
Hey Josh any chance you can try the Superior product line? They're the ones that make the cover all tire shine. Blessings 🙌🏼
I recently bought the green hose. It leaked under the “heat shield area, and jumbled up like the orange hose.Sending it back.
@@tren133 Thank you
Quick question for you, have you ever purchased any hoses from Grainger?
@imjoshv I changed my orifice to 1.25 on my foam cannon. And I am still not getting thick foam. Any idea?
Please review the EGO water pressure washer
Take a shot for me every time joshy says AGAIN 😭😭
Purchased two yamatic hoses. Both at each ends were leaking. A lot of reviews say the same.
Are you using quick connects or twist one? Also have you tried teflon tape?
Do you happen to have a good suggestion for my karcher k5? Apparently I can’t upgrade the hoses. But can you use quick connects? Thanks in advance
I got the green Yamatic bc they had 75’ but now I’m trying to return it. Any of you know how is the propulse carpet cleaner 75’ blue hose for mobile detailing?TY
I got the Uberflex red one
Is the red 50 foot uberflex that is 2.99 more than the blue the same? Red says 3700psi blue says 3100psi
I'm glad this came out when it did. Looks like I'll be sticking with Uberflex. I'm curious if you ever tested their 1/4" vs 5/16" vs 3/8" @ 50' length all on the same pressure washer to see if there's any change in performance?
No change in performance with hose diameter.
@@5hift6eargood to know
@@5hift6ear Is this assumed theory or tested fact? Particularly on the smaller electric units?
@@BigBear--tested
@@BigBear--he even strung together 100+ feet and tested. Check some of the older videos.
yamatic also makes this hose in black... your hose wont look like dumpster after its first use...
also... that uberflex is not that great... it might not kink... but it has mad MEMORY....
I haven’t noticed any difference in any of them but maybe I’ll order another one to see
I’m going with the Uberflex hose next if my Flexzilla ever packs it in
hi, should i get the 25' or 50' uberflex kink hose? i can't decide
So is the Uber flex the same as the flex zilla? I’d prefer green to match my ryobi washer
Yeah the flexzilla actually had the uberflex patent number on it
@@imjoshv thanks for the fast reply!
I believe most use around 1:10 ratio (you are at 1:11.3; either increase your soap or decrease the water.)
any updates on that snap/crack sound?
Has the Uberflex had any issues since you bought it?
I’ve got black Uber flex from Walmart and it’s just better then my standard pressure washer hose. But not significantly. It’s still have memory and it’s a mess. I’ve never used blue one but black hose not the same as blue one.
Been wondering about yamatic. Figured it wasnt quite as good as uber flex.
Will the connection be ok for. karcher k4?
A while back Josh announced a giveaway for some stubby wands but it was never announced who won. Where are the winners announced at?
