Wonderful content yet again and what an impressive display. Very similar to lemon barbs those H. Verneyi 😉
Thanks again!
amazing aquarium!!!
Awesome! thanks for the info!
Thank you!
Wow! This is amazing, thank you so much! Those fish are gorgeous and it’s so nice to see them kept properly!
Thank you too!
@@belowwater I’m already back to watch it again😂👍
Very cool. and good to hear about the breeding programs for these species.
yes, at least they are trying to keep these mega-fish going.
I'd love to have a look at the filtration system they have set up to deal with those huge bioloads, the water looks so clear and the fish are in top condition!
yes, here everything is done right. Next time i go I will film the filtration system and feeding regimen!
wonderful video son.
thank you. heavenly support is always welcome
Nice video! Are there new videos coming with corydoras in them again? Would be cool. Your the best channel on youtube😊
yes, nothing in the wild but we will do a "10 nice Corydoras" part 2 soon
@@belowwater sounds exciting!
That is so interesting that they don’t eat for certain time periods! I can’t even imagine how you would keep all of these fish fed. This must have been amazing to see in person!
I think people also underestimate the cost of feeding big fish.
Those weren't Wallago attu at the end of the video... if I'm not mistaken they are actually Wallago leeri.
tank is supposed to have _W.attu_ and _W.micropogon_
❤👍👍
Very informative video.
Please share knowledge n underwater of African butterfly fish
thank you, I do not have footage in nature, but we will show some butterfly fish with other African oddballs soon.
@@belowwater sure sir thank you. I recently bought 4 butterfly fish. Also if u can share more information about hoplias varieties mainly aimara n Malabar.
🙂👍
Any idea how the fish were caught and imported all the way to Japan at 4 feet long? That must have been incredibly expensive. Also wonder what made the Japanese decide to randomly focus on fish from the Mekong? I’ve been to the Mekong from Nong Khai Thailand to upstream in the rock rapids reach. When you look at the river along this stretch it’s really not big (average width and depth) and it’s amazing that at its small size it can support the second highest species diversity only to be outdone by the Amazon. This speaks for the unique sediment bio load of the river.
the fish come from a breeding facility, that is why they know how to ship and pack animals of that size. The focus is not randomly on the Mekong, they focus on Japanese native and endemic freshwater fishes but have exhibits from the major world rivers (Mekong, Congo, Amazon).
I'm living in VietNam. We're planning to create an large aquarium like this for our business (in HCMCity) next year.
fantastic, great to make people more aware of these big fish
Yah, i will show it on youtube later. Love the Mekong river big fish.@@belowwater
Catlacarpio seed needs
Thai aquarium
Sad that there were no Mekong giant rays around, but these are an amazing representation of Southeast Asian diversity!
yes, that would require a really big tank!

@@belowwater unrealistically huge, people would rather make a marine tank 😆
@@GiantBarb good luck in your endeavors!
Yah, thank you. We have thousands of this fish in our farm.@@Evenape
