I'm about to read this book by Cahill. With war and death raging between Israel and Gaza, I hope to understand a little more of what is in "the hearts" (as Cahill hoped to impart) of the Jews and perhaps understand the Palestinians as well. We will not get anywhere near a peaceful existence in this world without an understanding of each other.
There are the Jews and then there are the Asiatics who converted to Judaism and pretend to be Semites - they are the Zionists. The Bible is a book of Eastern mysticism and Cahill should know that many of its ideas and values came out of Egypt and Persia. That is not in any way to denigrate the Bible and the eternal truths and values that it contains. Fascinating interview with a fascinating individual.
Every people took slaves . Jewish mysticism , By introducing the holy Sabbath , in which all men and women ceased to labour , including slaves , eventually lead to the principle of dignity for all , and the ending of slavery itself . Took some time , though , for it to kick in . Hatred for the Jews may stem from the chaos of the human heart that requires slavery for all in the twisted belief that it would tame their own savage being . Or , it may simply be the need to return the human condition to incoherent rage and violence . Me , and the rest of my fellow fighting Irish , I hope , know what's worth fighting for .
Absolutely absurd. The Aboriginals of Australia have a tradition called walkabout which predates Judaism by tens of thousands of years. And quite obviously, common sense would dictate that various cultures have had "adventures"
@@shoftim The Irish were farming and building very big monuments long before Gisa or the Israelites existed. Now we know they were doing the same in Gobekli Tepe 11,500 years agoMuch of the Jewsihs texts are lifted direct from Sumerian concepts. This interpretation of jewish foundations for humanity is hasbara nonsense.

What are these adventures.? Do tell the story . Who went on walkabout ? What were their names ? Where did they go ? What did they find when they got there ? Do tell , and I'll tell you about the absurd . There is the epic of Gilgamesh in which real characters are named . Would love to hear more about the walkabouts .
Going to look into this guy a couple of decades later. Hope he remains multilingual.
Interesting interview... Do they still happen?

Very interesting
Cahill is righteous and yes Charlie Rose too - forgiveness exists

This discussion, as I understands, pertains to the West. Aboriginals are more.... south east??
