This car comes from Sandown Brabus in the UK, the Mercedes dealer based UK Brabus centre, who also took us on our special factory tour. After our incredible behind the scenes look at the Factory, where we will explored all the individualisation available at Brabus, today we get to see the Flag G800 brabus in action!

Brabus is of course one of the world’s most respected tuning houses, renowned for it’s crazy upgrades to Mercedes Benz and Mercedes AMG cars.
Founded in 1977 by the late Bodo Buschmann, as with many companies began from the desire to customise his own cars, but wanted to do it to his own tastes and thus founded Brabus with his friend Klaus Brackmann. Bra from Brackmann and Bus from Buschmann, and it also being the double B you see in the now iconic logo!!
The mission, get the maximum performance out of a car taking it to it’s mechanical limit, alongside unique aggressive design and individualisation.
They’ve created some monsters like the CLS based Brabus Rocket 800, which was the worlds fastest sedan in 2012, as well as icons like the 6x6 Brabus, and even have a hand in building the Maybach Pullman for Mercedes Benz
But the G wagon has always been their bread and butter, and the one we attribute most to Brabus’s work as petrol heads. The tuning program for the New G63 starts with an entry level G700, with the B40 700 plug and play box giving 700HP. But today we’re looking at the flagship G800 Widestar!
800 Horsepower! 1000 Newton meters! Madness anywhere else, but just the norm at for a G Wagon from the crazy guys at #Brabus!

Is absolutely HORRIBLE, it needs stiffer springs, tighter damping, stiffer anti-roll bars, strut tower braces, 2" lowering kit, wider tires just to START with... There should be no pitching rearward under acceleration, lurching, torque-steer, or braking dive at this price-point, c'mon Brabus : (
EMET YAHU it is though, an off-road car....
EMET YAHU its a fkin g Wagon and no sportscar. I drove the regular new g63 and yes ist was a bit scary, but its the perfect mix of bring drivable on road while still performing amazing offroad. Also its a cruiser when on the road. You will get That when you Drive one.
EMET YAHU Are you planning on taking it to the fucking track? In it’s current state it’s first and foremost a comfortable car that has off-road capabilities and can go fast.

I understand the concept of sponsors involved when making videos like this, but I'd love to see a fair technical and price comparison review between a Brabus upgrade vs a RennTech upgrade. Also perhaps explain the warranty differences.
Brabus is more like AMG, while RennTECH is like a regullar tuner!

I'm assuming Brabus would keep the 3 pointed star on if their customers wanted it. Personally, I agree. I'd rather keep the Mercedes Benz logos on but I don't mind "BRABUS" lettering on the rear of the vehicle like they typically would put.

What a beast! I'm scared by it just at looking on your mimik when you had to control it while accelerating. I was wondering how the noise level was inside the car - it did not appear that you had to speak louder into the microphone, would you confirm that?

I love the Brabus better than the standard G 63. I will drive this one day i can feel it.
I have the previous edition Brabus waggon and I can confirm it is absolute chaos in terms of the steering. It literally PULLS and FIGHTS you to verge left or right when you floor it and I have not stopped upping my life insurance policy since. New one is faaaaaaaaaar more improved with the drive trains and driver aids!
