Austin is right about the jawline part. You need a decent jawline to have a stubble. Your jaw width and Lower third in general have to be above average and your ramus angle. But if you do have a decent jawline a stubble is objectively peak attractiveness. If you don’t have a jawline creating the illusion from a thick beard is the best choice. There’s a channel called QOVES that explains this

The only time ive seen stubbles work is on dudes that are attractive with or without them, like younger george michael easily rocks both. Never see average dudes and think that it changes alot other than you might look less young
I use my beard trimmer at 3mm everytime I trim at least once a week. Keeps your skin good from zero razor burns for acne and not a super big beard that’s high maintenance…living life on “easy mode” with hacks.

ive been to the barber once my entire life. and that was a week before my wedding. Waste of money. More fun to do it yourself. Plus if your barber messes up, you resent them. If you mess up, you try better for next time and don't have to ''pay'' yourself for a fail.

I've always wondered if you ever used the minoxidil on your eyebrows when you were first growing your eyebrows at any point or if your eyebrows got thickers as a side effect from putting it on your beard or if you naturally always had eyebrows like that. The hair loss after discontinuation is only for the scalp not beard

I’m on month 4 of minoxidil rn. It’s been coming along, I’ve shaven it clean twice already just to keep it clean while I’m in the growing process, but I can get up to like 3mm after a few weeks and it looks decent. Just waiting for everything to get terminal. Shooting for about 6 months consistent, and then 6 months weaning off
try not to clean shave it as I heard that "pulls out" the non-terminal hairs (called vellus hairs). it is recommended that you just give it trims and let the hair grow for better results
You should probably stay on minox for a bit longer than that for best results. I'd say do at least 15 months of twice a day applications before you decide to start weaning off. Otherwise there's a great risk you'll lose a lot of density or perhaps not even reach your full beard growth potential.

Try and keep letting it grow. Have fun with it. Allways keep it fresh with beard shampoo and condition. You don't work in a very crazy area like construction. Enjoy the big length man. In highschool every 3 days I would shave constantly. Now I have a full set of beard. Which I wanted 4 years ago. Gets annoying the check stuble.but looks amazing. Have it for at least a year. You might consider looking more manly. Only thing that sucks is maintaining it every so often. Id tried it 2 times. But try getting the fade look. Back side of the beard going into your goatee. Might look good on you. And it is rocked also short length.
Month four and it’s crazy how well it worked even when tho I was forgetting to use. I used to have nothing besides a gotee n now I have a pretty solid short beard. Just make sure to use lotion alot if you have dry skin like me!
The dry skin pisses me off to no end I recommend shampoo here and then and coconut oil just to cleanse it

Use a safety razor or a cut throat razor to clean up your lines. Good for sensitive skin cos it’s a single blade & won’t irritate your skin like most multiple blade razors do.
Only reason why I don’t keep a stubble is because my jawline is not as sharp as Austin but I mean his jaw is on a whole another level. So until I get it a full beard is what I’ll stay with.
I use Rogaine morning and night and I started with a stubble with that 5 o'clock shadow and now its progressed to a darker tone so it growing hopefully it'll end up looking like yours in the thumbnail in 2 years after its done
It took me 3-4 months of using it to see the results I was hoping for. U should use it for a year or two but u will be pleased with the result much much sooner

Sorry bro, but your peak aesthetic look is definitely with a beard, though its not like the case with Drake where the beard literally saved him. You're still in your 20s, but once you hit the 30s, replace the stubble for the beard. Its just a dominant alpha feature in the eyes of men and women, biologically speaking.

I'm in the process of growing my bread- (beard🤣)- I love the stubble look. My beard is thicc & I had it long before. It's cool though but, a short beard is easier to maintain. My beard line naturally stops at my neck so I don't have that to worry about.😅 the only thing I gotta line is my cheeks & mustache.

When I shave my beard Super low it looks like a hacked of part of my chin 😂 If you don’t have a strong draw line it’s best to grow your beard. Otherwise you’ll just have stubble with a weak Jawline.

Hello Austin, do you think minoxidil closes the mustache gaps? There are places where there is no hair.
Try it out🤷🏾♂️. I see changes in mine since I too have a gap but the gap has shrunken last time I grew it out. Now I’m back to growing it out again to see how it looks.
