Why wouldn't you just give it a gentle stir with the narrow end of a plastic mash paddle to mix in the stabilizers? Seems like less risk of oxydation compared to moving around the entire carboy.
very good point can most definitely do it that way I just find it easier doing a gentle swill with a bung on
