Imagine how nuts it would be for them to adapt Tale of the Body thief one of my favorites of the chronicles! Also with Jacob Andersons performance as Louis they have too make sure hes in every season as much as possible because in the books after Interview he was barely in it from what i remember. Imagine Louis being along the adventure a lot more with Lestat during Queen of the Damned. 🤯
I know it was such a shame that Interview With The Vampire didn't get no Emmy nominations. But unfortunately that is how the Emmy's have always been they are notorious on ignoring horror themed shows. Just look at The Walking Dead 11 whole seasons and they were almost always ignored.
We're captioning, bc we duck the audio for our comments and we don't want the viewers to miss the context. We've recorded the ep (seven) already, and I had Albert watch and react to the Season 2 "first look" and it was epic! We'll be including both on the final ep which is being edited now. Fun fact for ep 7, somehow I (Baz) hadn't watched it at all either. So, it's a first reaction for both of us! I couldn't believe that even *I* missed watching the final ep of the season.
Anne's vamps do gain that ability, but it's over MANY centuries (like 100+) before they attain that sort of "talent." Neither Lestat nor Louis are anywhere close to that at this point.
I enjoyed watching your reactions to Ep1 so much that I just watched your Ep2 reactions. When I first watched Ep2 last year, the tenor death scene made me cringe, but after hearing your take on it, I get why you think he deserved it, though I'd like to think that "rogue company" would've found a better tenor if they could, then Lestat would've had to dine elsewhere that night.
Love you guys review of this show.. Anne Rice had her hands in this show before she passed away (now her son is making sure everything goes the way she wants) … Anne Rice hated the movie
As someone who prefers the show over the movie, she absolutely adored the movie, it just wasn’t in her rights, she absolutely HATED The Queen of the Damned movie as it un-queered Lestat and many other characters and changed the entire storyline.
@@DOMINIQUE1992 at first she did but then she was impressed by how well tom cruise got down the humor and the charisma of Lestat. She doubted him completely before the movie was shot.
Chris Rice is named as an exec, but in practice has nothing to do with the direction/content. He doesn’t seem to have even made any public statements about it, so has probably signed his rights away. Rolin Jones and team are doing a remarkable job with this show. ❤️
I watched this episode with my opera buddies, and we all agreed, we all would have killed the tenor.😂
Damn was he really that bad? 🤣🤣🤣

the show creator Rolin Jones confirmed they will find ways to have more Louis in the future, unlike the books
Not sweeping the Emmys, actors, writing, cinematography, wardrobe, crazy, smh😔
Prejudice against horror--and the Emmys usually are twenty years behind what they should be awarding, it seems. Disappointing, though.

Make sure you turn off the captions for episode 7. There’s a mild spoiler.

He became human in Tale of the Body Thief.
Since Louis hasn't seen _Nosferatu_ yet, he probably doesn't know he can't go out in daylight. (Dracula, after all, could.)

All the episode titles are quotations from the first book, with the exception of one that combines two quotations.
the armand spoiler 😭
I’ve been waiting for this! Thanks for the great reactions 😊
Our pleasure!! Thanks for taking time to let us know!
