    Love this movie - thanks for reviewing it, and sharing this with us. (PS - at least at the moment, the complete movie is on RUclips "Latter Days" for free.) By the way, ex-Mormon Jimmy Snow runs The Line, a daily call-in show on RUclips. He only hosts a day or two a week, but he knows his Mormon theology forward and backwards. I've learned a lot hearing him answer questions and debating callers.

    Jane Lynch was also in _Glee._ Comediennes who basically used characters included Moms Mabley, Phyllis Diller, and Minnie Pearl. I remember seeing Pearl and Diller talk about their characters and an interview about Pearl in a movie magazine. So they weren't quite so anxious to deny that these were characters.

    I'm not really on Miriam's side here. Sophie's advice was wrong, but it was what worked for her, so, although she's a bit superior, she meant well. Also, it was just dumb. I'm not even sure that set would be very funny to the audience, who don't have the context of having seen the episode? And I think Midge is more mad at her mother and blames Sophie (unconsciously) for the scene in the church because Sophie made her take the coat that set Rose off.

    I believe your time recollection is wrong. When Lestat meets Armand, the time is the 1700's. Armand is already an established vampire from previous centuries. Magnus, Lestat's maker, has already died and left his fortune to Lestat. Armand tries to woo Lestat, but the relationship is short-lived. Lestat meets Marius, who is also an ancient vampire but older than Armand.

    The Romanian boy touched her face and referred to her as a "crow"(black). That is why she shoved him to the ground. Claudia will not allow anyone to disrespect her. The boy deserved what she did. Claudia showed restraint, which is rare for her. She could have done worse.

    Been looking forward to this reaction, and now I can't wait for your ep 5 one! Dreamstat tickles me so much, especially his, "Romeo!" and "I lOvE YoU!" 🤣And still, Louis' farewell to him in the park was so touching! I agree that Assad brings such quality to his portrayal of Armand, because he embodies the vulnerability and fear just as well as the effortless power and manipulation of the character! We're honestly spoiled with this cast and crew! And super shout out to Ben Daniel's villainous turn as Santiago, and the wonderful Delainey Hayles (especially for her perfectly-aimed truths over Louis' inability to put her first, like he promised)! Great show, great reaction - thanks guys!

    The showrunner has said in multiple different interviews over the past couple of months that they will NOT be following the books regarding Louis. They fully understand how much of a powerhouse they have within Jacob Anderson being on the show... In the book, Louis kind of fucks off for a good couple of books before showing back up... He's NOT going to do that on the show. He's going to be there, in some form... It's still unknown exactly how large of a part he will have in season 3... But from what the showrunner has said it's still going to be a decently large part... He has said that Jacob and Sam will be co-leads in the season. So he most likely isn't going to just have a scene or two. Most fans are thinking they will just probably have a lot of Louis in present day and give him SOMETHING to do... Fans aren't really expecting to see Lestat's version of Louis in the past being what keeps Jacob on the show... But yeah the showrunner has been very clear in the fact that they have kind of made alterations to Louis' personality to make him a much more interesting character with more of a backbone because they want him to be in the show SIGNIFICANTLY more often than he showed up in the books... Cuz in the books he was pretty much just super whiny and then would commit arson... And that's ALL that he did 🤣... Jacob is giving more than just that in his performance of Louis, absolutely. So yeah some fans have expressed concern about how much Louis will be in the show going forward... And the fact that a white man will be taking over a black man's story... It's usually non-book readers who are making that critique to be fair... So they don't know that Lestat is the protagonist of the book series, not Louis. But the showrunner has been VERY clear that Jacob will still be a co-lead so... no need to worry!

    • @levadamusic
      @levadamusic 18 дней назад

      I think book readers have to forget about books for a bit. The series is not the same as the books, the name of the series is also "interview with the vampire", it is not the book saga. We probably won't have the same thing with books, for better or worse . Obviously there won't be a big change in protagonismo doesn't make sense for a TV show. .

    • @leslust
      @leslust 18 дней назад

      @@levadamusicThe series is an adaptation of the books, and while things won’t be exactly the same Lestat’s role will definitely become more significant from this point forward since he is the main character of the vampire chronicles but the show will definitely keep Louis around unlike the books.

    Armand is not lying about his past. Since there are some differences between the book version and the tv, some changes have been made. But all of his story in the books and in the tv show is true and mortifying, that is what makes him so tragic and I truly cant hate him even after knowing what he has done. His past is just too much of a devilish nightmare.

    • @AnxietyRat
      @AnxietyRat 18 дней назад

      Yeah, Armand lies a lot... But he DOES have moments of truth. And that scene in the gallery was a moment of him telling the complete truth... from what he can remember of it, obviously. Armand's actor has even confirmed this in interviews. There are absolutely moments where you should doubt what he is saying is the truth but this wasn't one of them.

    You left one major theory out. 1) all Ice pick murders are done by Catherine. 2) All shooting murders are done by Beth. Nielsen was most likely murdered by Beth-the betrayal Nielsen did to Beth by harming Nick with the sharing of his file. Beth got her revenge on Nielsen. Remember Beth loves Nick. Catherine is a scorned lover of Beth’s; who plots her revenge a year in advance. She hires Nielsen to cover up her tracks and create doubt in the process. She gets all the information on Nick included his file. This information she uses to entice and reinforce Nicks impulsive behavior to gain favor. Catherine isolates Nick from his co-workers mainly through sexual enticing and other manipulations. That starts in the car with the cigarette bit. The reason why Gus has to die is too isolate Nick even further. Her plan was to steal Beth’s love; that is her revenge to Beth for a bad break up.
